When it says April 14, it's actually as of April 21. However, many applications receive their AOR ahead of the quoted time.

This Time is till SA that Includes AOR also.

I always thought that "x" days is for completion of whole stage 1.

Yeah, but also that meens that 80% of apps are done for that time (its not 100%)

I think it is best to check cic website to ensure that you are filling out the correct information and documentation. There is a checklist that needs to be looked at to ensure you are filling out the right forms for what you are applying for as well as where.

Suggestion of experience persons is also very important, because this is not a thing of 1 or 2 months..

Please refrain from posting the same question in many places.

You want proper information...By including the same question in more then one place you run the risk of getting wrong/confusing answers. As I have noted in your other thread you are missing some some forms I even posted the links. Begin by downloading the country specific instructions for your area that pertain to you and read it and follow it. Fill out the forms as a practice only so you can learn what is needed.

Chris.

If you are unsure of what you're doing you have the option to pay someone. Like I said previously I paid a counselor who provided me with the forms and guided me through filling them out. He also told me what documents were needed and police check for my spouse. Don't risk sending an incomplete application.

Yes, the posted time is from Received to SA. However, the number of days and the date means the "Last Update" is a week behind the information included.

For sponsors it isn't clearly stated as being a 80th percentile number.

After reading comments on this forum from people saying that the email from CIC can arrive in your junk email, I have never checked my junk folder so much. Gotta love all those viagra emails ;D

Does anyone know how often the ECAS page get updated? It says updated weekly, but is that really true?

They say that they update it weekly but I have noticed it is more like every two weeks. They had March 31, 2015 that they were working on February 2 applications. Then updated last week on Thursday with the latest update. Additionally this is the sponsorship approval stage though that cic is referring to...

That being said it looks like applications are being opened very quickly. At the beginning of the year they 55-70 days for them to open applications. I am so excited because it looks like it is down to about 35 days on average! :P

Then on average SA is 8 -14 days after that. My fingers are crossed that things keep moving this fast! ;D

Just checked March outland spreadsheet, most of March has received AOR and few have SA. Looks like April AOR will start end of week or next week. CiC seems to be working overtime last few weeks.

Hey! I'm glad you guys made it!
Congrats!
Now you wait for the AoR!

You can add your info on 2015 spreadsheet, the most complete one or on the march spreadsheet.
Both is on my sign.

You guys are talking about different things.
eCAS is https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do, and "updated weekly, usually on Tuesdays". I'm investigating this claim to narrow down what days and times are normal.
Processing times are http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp, and updated weekly for sponsors. The week of April 14 was an exception to this, but going back, this was updated on Feb 25, Mar 5, 12, 20 26, April 2, 9, and 23. While the page says "Last update: April 14, 2015" this is completely useless. The page was changed on April 23 with information as of April 21. Over the previous two month period, the posted SA times have dropped by 23 days.
