2015 April-Outland spousal application

My application was received on April 13th. on the website it says, "decision made" for the sponsorship application status. Now the package is sent to Sri Lanka (Visa Office). They have contacted my wife to verify some information, like her DOB, when we got married etc. They have also requested from her copies of the PP's 'alteration observations' page. Which she is sending today.

Also we submitted her medical with the application, so the cic website also read "Medical Received"

Anybody else had to go through this? and Are we progressing well?

So the agent told me that I was approved as a sponsor on June 22. They had some incorrect email address for me in their records, which is probably why I never got an AOR either. I have just filled in thei case specific email form asking them to correct my email address and to send me a copy of the sponsorship approval on my corrected email.

I'm starting to worry they opened my file..and mixed it up or lost it. It shouldn't be in progress still but that's all the agent could see. Oh well, as long as it's approved, I don't mind waiting longer.

My ecas still says "in process" btw. I'm sure you've been approved as well, but your agent only read out what was written in your ecas and they did not dig in further.

When ecas is updated in a few days, you'll see "Decision Made." All the best.

if you guys still didnt received anything yet,when will I receive mine.They got my application on april 30th.Should I call them tomorrow or wait.
pls cic plz speed up this process.This is just first stage.What will happen after our file is transfer to our home country office.Who knows....hope for best. ??? ??? ??? :-[

Cic would have sent you sponsorship approval via email or snail mail (it really depends on their mood). 99% people get approved, so most likely you are approved unless there is some major factor such as on welfare or were sponsored yourself recently etc.

Next your application will be transferred to a VO abroad and they will communicate with your wife that they have received her application. This is called AOR2.

If you don't hear anything in a few days, you can call cic call centre. If you get a nice agent, they will confirm that u have been approved and what VO has your file been tansferred to.

54 days since application was received... No SA yet...hoping to receive it one of these days.. Its frustrating to check ecas every now and then..

To everyone who got their SA, have any of you receive an email or letter from them. On Monday I found that they never even send me an email or letter even though it says on my online profile. Wondering if anyone else is going through the same dilemma

Haven't received anything yet - no email and no letter. Even ecas has not changed to DM yet. The CIC agent told me on the phone that I was approved on June 22 but she did not know if they had sent me anything yet or not. Also, my email in their records was incorrect, so even if they emailed something, I would have never gotten anything. I'm still waiting for an official sponsorship approval letter or email.

First of all Congrats IndoCanadian2015!!!!!! The CIC agent that I talked on Monday was nice enough to check for me and he found that they never send anything on June 12. Hopefully we both receive that email or letter soon. Again congrats step 1 is finally done.

I got an email from them nine days after eCAS changed to DM.

Hi LLAngel, my ecas changed to "Decision Made" today. It says they sent me a correspondence on June 22. Since we have almost the same timeline, check your ecas today. I hope you've gotten your SA as well.

I applied April 28 - Not had anything??

Ive called CIC twice each time they say If I they havent started to process my application they cant give me an update - What number are you guys calling for an update? all I have is my Recipt Number R123******
