Hi my friends

It is nice to see Latin american presence here. Using Mexico VO.

I was searching and searching to find some MXVO mates. Lets do our homework and advertise this Topic so every MXVO mate can find it!

I just received my PER on March/9/2015

Timeline:

App 19th December 2014
DD 12th February 2015
PER 09th March 2015

Could someone tell me if the average days to get MR is 70 days ?

And from PER to Passport Request?

Thanks.

Hi, welcome to this thread, unfortunately MXVO is slower than other VOs, the 70 day waiting time is not realistic anymore, according to the last MRs the waiting time is around 130 days. We have a long ride ahead.
You may want to check the next chart.

I've checked other threads and unfortunately, it seems that only Ottawa is keeping up with the 70-days mark, and although New Delhi and London are picking up the pace there are plenty of people that applied on the same month (or even the same day) I did and are still waiting for their MR. So, be patient my friend :)

Hi Pepeflakes!

My wife and I are planning to move to Calgary. I have a sister there who is already a Canadian Citizen, she was also a Federal Skilled Worker applicant, so we initially are going to live with her.
I work with IT as a consultant in Windows Servers technologies and I hope to get a job while staying in her home.

I would like to move to Toronto, since my wife and I are both teachers, and it is a little hard to get certified in Canada as a foreign trained teacher, we plan to get survival jobs while getting the paper work done.

Hi Guys! I´m planning on landing in Toronto. I´m a Financial Services certified Project Manager and I believe most of the jobs for the financial services industry are in Toronto. I-m going to land first and look for a job while my husband keeps his current job in Colombia. As soon as I find a job he will join me in Canada. Hope everything goes according to plan! Best of luck to all!!

Hello!!!

We are moving to Calgary. I have cousins and aunts already there as citizens, so we are planning to live with one of them.

My husband is applying as financial manager, I would like him to land first, then return to Mexico and try to fond job while still working here, then we move.

I don't really know how everything is going to be... Maybe we end up moving till next year. Because I am 2 months pregnant, so I don't know if they are going to ask us to have our baby first and then continue with the process, or they issue my husband's pr first, or perhaps we could get our PR while I am still pregnant.

Pepeflakes, how did you get your job? Did you get it from Mexico?

Hey guys...i ve been reading your posts. I want to share my case: file received in nova scotia office on july 22 2014, PER mail received on nov 16th 2014, credit card charged on the same date , but since that date, nothing else. In the ECAS system all i see is In Process status, and when clicking on it it just says that my file was received on july 22. Nothing else since november. Last week i called an they told me that my file was sent to Mexico office. My consultant says that this is normal because CIC moves the files to other offices to speed up.
I have seen the average processing times and this move doesn't look like goog news when comparing times...jejeje..
I just wanted to share this with you because all of us are in Mexico offices hands.
Avnyone has any advice or comment regarding my case will be very welcome.

...so I hope they are just getting their strength to send all the MR emails at once :)

Perhaps it is just a coincidence, but going over the Mexico City VO cases over at the FSWP 2014 Spreadsheet http://tinyurl.com/FSW14-Spreadsheet and our own little spreadsheet here, it seems like our visa office likes to send all MR around the 20-28 of each month. Hopefully we will have many updates the first days of spring.

EduardoJRP and Guate: it's your turn to shine! Expect good news in the next 15 days :)

Thats not very nice
