Yes, they were on strike back in June 2013. But now, what we don't know is if they solved their salary problems or are they again working slow to demand a new raise from the government of Canada.

Just yesterday, I noticed in my ECAS now appears my home address.... It is curious, but let's wait to see what happen. I think it's good.

I think the same. At least they checked my file to change the address. It's alive!!! It's alive!!!, I said after this change.

I am truly worried now, since my ecas is still dead
I've tried all the possible combinations to log in, but without any luck so far. I've hyphenated my two last names, wrote them in all caps, in the usual format, but nothing happens.
Has any of you had the same experience?

do you have the letter "ñ" in your last names?,have you tried with the application number instead of the UCI?

No, that's the weird part, they don't even have accents on the vowels, and yes, I've tried using the application number and the UCI. I positively know my file is there because I received an email from Mexico confirming that they had it.
At first I was chilling because I thought: "oh well, they haven't started to process it just yet" but c'mon, it's been 90 days... and I'm starting to freak out since I've read that everyone else's ecas is alive and kicking. I know that although my patience may be wearing thin I'll just have to wait...
