I'm already moving on with this matter of the bank statements to send them asap to Mexico VO.
By the way, do you know to whom you I send these bank statements? I mean should I send them
by DHL just stating the name of the Mexico VO and with all my data regarding my file and all that?
Could I enter to the enquiry web page of Mexico VO and send the bank statements through that web site?
Please let me know if any of you have sent info to Mexico VO through any of these two ways or both at the same time.

A friend of mine who is waiting for MR was diagnosed last week with Hepatitis C. She is freaking out right now, do any of you know if this is cause for rejection?

I have never sent follow up documents, but the people over at the main 2014 FSW thread have that experience. What did your request letter said? If it asked for originals, they must be sent by courier, but if not, it is my understanding that electronic transfer is possible... But better to ask someone that has dealt with that issue already.

Still stuck in third line. Up to this point I used to have timely updates in ECAS, but I understand it is quite normal not to update in the last part of the process. My guess is that the passports will be back around Wednesday of next week. MxVO turn around time is usually 15 days, but in my case the Easter holiday interrupts normal flow.

Hi guys, while I am really happy because things seems to be moving in Mex VO, I am starting to freak out since I haven't received my MR.

Don't freak out SACA! There must be a perfectly reasonable explanation. Is yours a large family? Did you claim to have relatives in Canada that needed extra background checks? Is your NOC one of the hard ones to prove experience (many people in my NOC 1123 have that problem)? Did you live more than 6 months in a different country? Perhaps you had many jobs in the past and they are verifying every single one? Or maybe your file randomly got into the hands of quality assurance and they are a bit slower than regular agents?

Or maybe, just maybe, they singled out your case to be considered Emperor of Canada and winner of the lottery and they are preparing wonderful surprises? It takes time to organize parties and parades and stuff

At least you have PER. If you have PER you're still being considered, don't forget that. I bet you will get MR by the last week of April. Keep your hopes up, we're rooting for you!

It all depends on the officer, if he considers that the anual medical costs, once in Canada, will exceed CAD 6000, he may refuse the application . It is a really good idea to consult a Canadian Immigration Lawyer to help in this difficult situation. In some cases it can be arranged to cover the extra-cost.

There's your answer then, Emperor Saca!

It is easier to prove marriage than common law partnership. Maybe that took a bit more investigating. And also, MxVO needs to verify criminal background in 2 countries instead of just one. Nothing to be concerned for, but extra time might be needed to process for your case... and to rehearse parades.

I'm still confident April is your month (expect news after Apr 20th)

In this thread we are all assigned to the Mexico City visa office, trying to understand the way this particular office works and if the delays are generalized or not.
