CC charged
I saw you guys apply under fsw2 and got your file number less than 2 month.
Shall I have that before I got cc charged?
It seems fsw1 actually is faster than fsw2, is that true?

In FSW2 we applied with an arranged employment. FSW1 is the traditional way of applying that is points and all. We can't say fsw2 is slower than fsw1 becoz if you go thru whole thread, you will find out that some of us got visa in just 2-3 months. The only thing which makes difference in processing is the way visa offices works, that no one has any clue how it is. In our cases we r unnecessarily waiting. All other formalities have been done. Just waiting for ppr.
When u apply your cc charged first then you get AOR after that u get PER. This is how it works and is same in almost all visa office. Afterward process, I believe now, depends on their mood.

Hi,
We sent in an application for the FSW under the NOC 2174 in August. Our application of course hasn't been processed yet.
If we get a job offer from a Canadian employer before December ( by which the cap will be full, and our application might be opened). can we "update" the current FSW application with the job offer- which then removes us from the cap limit ?

Or would we have to make a fresh application next year ?

Also what is understood as a "job offer". Should this be a written contracted offer between either party or the actual LMO - which takes months to process ?
Can those who submitted an offer -please help share your experience ?
We have suddenly found possible employers and are not sure how to proceed TWP or FSW ??

Thank you

Thank you for your reply!! rimi!

I was going thru spreadsheet and find out that April applicants got their visas already. What the hell is going on? It doesn't make any sense that why they are making us wait when they know we are already in Canada and have to manage to send our passport or may be go thre in person. It's really getting frustrating as days r passing and nothing is happening.

Hey rimi,

I can understand ur frustration ,, coz v r in Canada v have to undergo the RCMP check and etc etc ,, probably this is taking time I guess ,, I applied gcms ,, as soon as I get d notes I will let u know where v were struck,,

Hey wanbetty ,

If u get an approved lmo u can add that to ur application it will remove u from cap limit and u will b in fsw3,, or u can even opt the express entry if u apply after dec 2014 which is a speedy process ,,

Gud luckkkkk

August is unfortunately too late for 2172. You can expect your application to be returned due to the cap being reached. If you want to apply under FSW with arranged employment, you will have to submit a new / separate application. Note that having a permanent job offer isn't enough, your employer will also need to secure an approved LMIA/LMO.

I have already sent that. Moreover that landing fees too. Everything is done till landing fees. Now it's just one little step i.e. ppr. Extremely frustrating for me.
Let us know when u get those notes.
