NO. However remember any communication from CIC may come to your registered address. I imagine it is to your email id.

US has pre-departure clearance. You will need B2 US visa if you want to enter US. Normally officer will NOT allow you if necessary papers are not clear. If your flight hops in US, you can at best shop within the airport secured zone
4. Most likely I'll come back in January, hoping I'll have visa stamped by then. I'll land in Calgary. So does it has anything to do with my pr or is it must for me to land in Vancouver only?
Which is your Visa office ? How do you expect that visa to be stamped (at which visa office) on your passport + COPR when you are travelling for wedding? You can arrive at any airport as you have valid Closed Work Permit already but you will have to do 'landing process' for PR and I am guessing it needs to be done at the port of entry (POE) which can be the first (any) airport.
5. Do I need any kind of letter from employer? He is really paranoid about my visit to India so he wants to know if ang document is required by him so that i should not have ny kind of trouble during landing.
No harm in taking the letter. As a citizen of India (my guess), you will not need any visa to enter India. Your multiple entry visa will allow to re-enter Canada. or you can use the COPR+Visa stamp to 'land'

1. I'll get my multiple entry visa soon.
3. I got US visa. So I'll go there first for couple of weeks as my family is there. Later I'll get flight from there.
4. My visa office is new delhi. Medical and all everything is done. Just waiting for ppr. I'm assuming new Delhi office will ask me to submit my passport to new delhi. As per my calculation we will get ppr somewhere next month or nov. So that's why I'm going to India.

You guyz got the line medicals received on ur ecas? I didn't get even though my meds reached ndvo

Yeah i guess we both got it on same day. Somewhere in july. When did you apply? When u got ur medical done?
 
Hey Chris,

We did our meds in June and around the 10th of July, we had our 3rd line.
 
Ya I was done with my medicals in May,, but they did not add the third line that they received medicals,, it's still showing they started processing on May 2 ,,
 
hey guys when did u started seeing second line in ur ecas I mean after receiving per when it shows second line
 
No it was only third line saying medical received.

I am going to apply for citizenship soon with arranged employment. My queries are:

1. I have applied through consultant for canadian job offer; how can i be confirmed about my job- i mean whether it is a valid or not. Is it possible for consultants to arrange the whole immigration process with a fake job offer?
2. I have filled up the appropriate section on immigration form concerning about consultant; to whom will CIC communicate with about my medical, passport request etc. Will they communicate with both of us?
