Any updates?? Which will come first ppr or decision made?

No updates! They've all gone into hibernation at NDVO.
I'm checking email and ecas regularly.
And applying for bowp because my wp ends in November.
My parents have started wedding preparations in India for February, but can't set a date because I don't know when they'll call for our (my common law partner and myself) passports and when they'll be returned. ??? This is frustrating! We really wish to attend our own wedding :-[

Hi guys!

I'm working as a skilled worker in Canada and it's been only 5 months. But I worked in a different occupation(skilled as well) for about 3 years back in my country.

Can I use my experience in my country and apply under FSW with an arranged job offer like you guys?

Yup you can apply..but make sure you reach the point grid for 67

Hi chris5678!

You were talking to me, right?
If so, but one of immigration agencies said that I can only use relevant work experience. I'm so confused!!

Plus, I have a part time relevant work experience. It could be 1 year adding up with my 5 months experience. And the agency said that part time doesn't count.

Anyone like my situation? Plz help me~

Rimi, Chris:
I just went throughout the 2014 spreadsheet and of the applications listed there, 910 were sent to NDVO. In comparison, London got 276 and Ottawa 156. No wonder then that NDVO has slowed down considerably and London and otttawa are looking faster. Those guys just got bombarded real bad.
I don't see any new passport requests being sent out of NDVO at all since, I believe, July. So, it's not as if they've moved on to newer apps and ours are stuck in limbo. I think it will be they way it was back in June. After a couple of months of no action, suddenly they sent out everyone's 'started processing' and 'med req' from my jan application to rimis March one and April ones too at around the same time!

It need not be related experience ..

Thanks!!

How long do you guys expect to take to get the PR?
The website says that they prioritize applicants with arranged employment. Hope it's true.

Sn2014,

It has been 3 months already I have sent my medicals .. I guess probably they may take couple of more months.. This waiting is killing me guyzzz.. Fingers crossed for quick processing
