Hey guys,
Just got my medical requests a couple of days ago and I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions about doctors in and around the Vancouver area. Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance.

Dr gulzar cheema. In surrey. He is really good and helpful. I went to him.

Got 3rd line on ecas-medicals have been received! :D

Whoever you go to, make sure you follow up after a few days and ask if they've submitted your results to cic so that you know when to expect to see your 3rd line.

Ok cool thanks guys for the info. Btw I noticed both of you guys haven't used CPP-Ottawa as your visa office..Was there a specific reason for that??

At the time, New Delhi was way faster with their processing times as compared to Ottawa.

Hey guys,
So I ended up going to Dr.Dwyer as he was close to where I live. I ended up paying $230 for everything. He also has the E-Medicals setup so I mailed the docs to Ottawa last week.
On another note, today I got another line "Medicals received" added to my ECAS page :) Any clue what stage I'm at right now?
Thanks in advance.

Congrats! You're 3 steps away from becoming a permanent resident.
1- getting passport request
2- decision made status, passport getting stamped with visa and returned
3- landing

I think visa office forgot about us lol. I wish we could give them a friendly reminder that we are waiting for their decision.

Lol! I wish..
Did you send your RCMP and medicals? Have you got medicals received line?

My brought forward date seems to be 28th July. So hoping they pick up my file then and send me the damn passport request!
Another thing that scares me though is that they have been calling for passports and keeping them for months in some cases..somebody elsewhere on this forum sent their passports 5months ago and haven't received them back yet

Yeah i sent my all documents last month and they received my medical in July as well. I don't think so that they gonna keep our passports for long time coz total duration of procedure is 10 months.
My employer don't want me to go to India and i don't find any secure way to send my passport there. So as soon i got ppr my employer is going to request to CIC for changing visa stamping location. Let's see if it works coz i have seen other's locations were changed from ottawa to new delhi. So i guess there should be some way to change from new Delhi to Ottawa.

Hey,
So I got "Decision made" on my Ecas on Thurs. I'm just confused cos they didn't ask me for the passport yet. So does this mean its a positive or negative decision?
Thanks
