2014 FSW-Arranged employment-Lets update here

Hi All,

My Spouse is a software engineer(Noc-2174). The employer has applied for LMO and most like we would hear soon. In case a positive LMO is issued, the employer would sponsor for work permit(TFW).
We might land in Canada in the month of Oct or Nov 2014. As soon as we land, can we apply for PR under FSW program? The employer is expected to support for PR. So getting offer letter with conditions like Permanent, non-seasonal and full time is just a formality.
I know that rest of the things like IELTS, EE etc should be in place and we would work to make all these ready before we land in Canada. Our intention is not to wait till the "Express entry" is launched instead, apply for PR when FSW is in place.

If your spouse has 1 year of experience in the same occupation, yes you can apply for fsw with arranged employment as soon as you get here.

would you mind sharing, when was the LMO applied to hrsdc ?? mine was applied in jan 2014 but haven't heard anything yet.

LMO start date : April 9th
Noc : 2174
Province : BC
LMO query : some time last week
LMO approved : 18th June.

Wait for another 3-4 weeks please.

So it could be 7-8 weeks, I know someone who had their CC charged in 3 weeks and AOR 3 weeks after that. Does it depend on who processes your application at Sydney?

Officially received COPR on June 19.

Passport processing for the immigration visa took 14 days.
