Congrats isquare!! 8)

I sent it by Xpresspost. CPC Ottawa received it on June 5th and they sent it out on June 18th. I received it the next day.

hi isquare
did u rec passport by regulr mail or express post.

I read about it too but I'm not sure it actually works because I haven't read about too many successful requests.

I'm just going to send them out by courier to vfs India and give the return address of my parents' place in India. They can forward them back to me by courier again. I don't think I'm going to have the patience to wait for a reply to my request which could be very fast or very slow.

Can we go there personally? I heard that we can not leave Canada if we have applied for PR but in my case I don't see anyone going to or comng to India who can deliver my passport.

I've never heard of us not being able to leave Canada after filing for PR. Isn't that what we are supposed to do for landing though? Exit and reenter the country? So why would there be a rule like that?

Are you confusing it with not having a PR card? Because I've heard that it is not wise to go out of Canada after landing but before getting the PR card.

Have u noticed ppr is suppose to come after medical req or received, but everyone who applied from India got it along with medical. Why so?

Yup, NDVO has that practise of sending the 2 together. I was actually wondering why ours were NOT sent together. :(

Maybe if the PCC wasn't missing from mine and RCMP clearance from yours, we could possibly have got them together too. That would've been cool.

If you review the CIC website the answer should be clear but for example you could use WES to provide an eca report for your application. There are several bodies that CIC authorise try this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

Can someone guide me with the website names from where i can get a job in Canada...please i have 10 yrs of exp in NOC 2281 any help will be appreciated
