You know I was wondering same thing, coz u filed in jan and at least medical request should have been made out by now. I don't get it, the way they handle the files.

If I have already workin Canada under NOC 0/a/b for over 1 year
and holding a valid close work permit based on LMO.?

or

Just submit a copy of my work permit / LMO ?

I am new to this forum. I am a software engineer and my Noc is 2174(and my spouse too). I am from India. Recently, I got a job offer from a Canadian employer. Right now, Lmo is being processed. If positive lmo comes up, tfw will be processed and I would travel all the way to Canada. Now my questions are-

1. Can I use this lmo(and of course job offer) to apply PR under FSW from India? Remember, I would be in India when I get lmo result and I still don't have a valid work permit as my tfw visa will be under process.

2. If I can't apply PR in the above mentioned way, what would be the best path to pursue PR?

Appreciate your help in advance and I might come up some more questions.

well as the title itself explains "arranged employment category" , yes you need an employment letter from your employer which explains that he is giving you a permanent full time job on the basis of the valid LMO you currently have. Basically, its just a kind of permanent job letter which an employer gives to his employee on the basis of the LMO they have. So if you already have LMO, closed work permit, IELTS is done, YOu just need a letter from your employer which describe your permanent job offer.

Hi Abhi, honestly nobody knows the answer. I now believe that CIC has some weird way of processing. I personally know my friends who have been waiting from last 3, 4 and 7 months for ppr and on other hand some people who got it along with medical request. So at this time I would suggest you to be patience and relax yourself, you are not very far from it as we applied under AE, so it won't be that as long as maximum duration is 10 months for whole procedure.

Thanks for your reply.
Questions again-
1. What are all the things I should get ready with before I receive lmo?
I have IELTS ready(L-8,W-7,R-7,S-6.5). I hope these should be OK.
I have transcripts ready.
I don't have birth certificate. Do I need to get that?
I don't have PCC. ya I will get that.
My spouse also falls under NOC 2174. so what docs does he need?

2. Are employers generally ok to give lmo and support the candidate for getting PR?

3. Say, I start the FSW processing after I get +ve lmo, apply for Pr under FSW category in ND visa office. Now, my tfw will also be processed and I may have to leave Canada in 4 months after I get lmo. How does that impact?
will I have to communicate and send documents like medical and others from Canada(i am OK with it but want to just ask). And also can I inform NDVO that I am staying in Canada on tfw.

Everything is perfect. I am 8 Yrs experienced software engineer fall under 2174. I work in a very big company and my Canadian employer is also a biggi in Market.

Your journey's ending soon. ;D
If you are from the visitor visa exemptions country, you maybe receive a "Confirmation of Permanent Residence" instead of the passport request and then you can go landing directly and immediately.
One of our member who's from Korea, he got CPR after medical.

Could you share your time line and ECAS status?

Did you get PER and AOR both before Medical request?
I saw some of forum member just got PER, and then medical request.
So, I just wondering about what's next after PER.
I got the PER in May and have been waiting for next step.
