this is nothing official, just applicants' way of get together of sharing information, but it's worth reading and guessing CIC's move.

but regarding the 5000 of your estimation, i would be very glad to hear how you estimated, care to share some thoughts?

Only a rough estimate:

- There are 3,480 applications accepted (issued AORs) as of September 30
- AORs are currently taking about sixty days
- We can only guess the current rate of applications, but based on ABS_1382's stats, 25 applications per day is probably a conservative guess
- So (60 x 25) = 1,500 applications received that have not been accepted yet, but are likely to be accepted
- 3,480 + 1,500 = 4,980 received
