2014 APPLICANTS - NOVA SCOTIA NOMINEE PROGRAM(WITHOUT JOB OFFER)

Hi Guys,

Next week, I am sending my documents to CIO for NPNS program. I need help from senior who already filed their application to CIO and received any confirmation from CIO.

I just want to reconfirm that, CIC Province Nominee checklist require to send only CIC forms, Travel documents, Civil identity documents, children documents, nomination letter, IELTS copy, police certificate and CIC fees.

They does not require any educational documents, financial requirements, job experience letter.

Should I follow checklist or send other above mentioned documents as well.

Do io's acknowledge the receipt of your additional documents? How long will it take themti respond? I have submitted mine but no confirmation of receipt. How is Aun Jaffery as io?

Some takes ages before they issue nomination, to some just a few days.. After assessment by assigned io to us, is it still subject for further assessment before finally gettig approval? Thanks

My question is that I have already applied for FSWP 2014 and my processing fees has been charged.
What do I do now ?
What are my options ?

When did u received ur hard copy of nomination (how many days after getting nomination in email ) ??

I did not received my hard copy of nomination letter yet. However, as per checklist of CIC Province Nominee, they require copy not original.
I will not wait for my hard copy.

Congrats on your nomination.

If you application process via FSW has started, you will not get a refund and will have to pay fees for the PNP stream should you decide to go the PNP route. Do this

1. Request for a refund http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=613&t=4
2. If your application processing has started you'll be denied. (Your application status can also be viewed online).

If refund is granted, then decision to go the PNP route is easier.

3. If refund is NOt granted. You can still withdraw your FSW app but our forfeit your FSW $$$. The request a refund link above tells you when refunds are granted and how to request one.

I assume you're aware of other benefits of FSW vs. PNP and vice versa? Especially the issue of settling anywhere vs. settling in one province

Yes, you can process boss applications (FSW,NSNP), but you should pay twice for each of them.

this is impossible.
the number of 150 nominations is a quota that is predetermined by the federal government and cannot be exceeded.
