Hello friends,

I am collecting and preparing documents for NSNP. As per the application guide for Supporting Documents following requirements is mentioned.

o Where the documents are not in English or in French, the principal applicant must submit a photocopy of the original document and a photocopy of the certified translation.

Please Note: The Office of Immigration will only accept translations prepared by certified translators. Translators must be certified by a regulatory body and cannot be a family member of the applicant or spouse, or common-law or conjugal partner, or work for a paid consultant or representative who is preparing the application. The applicant must also supply proof from the translator describing their translation ability or certification.

My query is what are these certified translator and how to get proof from them describing their translation ability or certification.?

Regards

Tetunte, now I observe that you have mailed your application for the same NOC as me - 2171. What do you think about the 150 CAP ? If I send the application in the end of the next week, will it be too late ? I am kind of curious if you have more info regarding the general interest for this NOC.

Thanks and best of luck to you too,

Hi,

I'd appreciate if you could help me with this question. My brother in law in applying from Pakistan, he has three kids. Currently he does not have passport for his wife and kids, can he apply with passport of his wife and kids and later send their passports?

He is civil engineer, has it reached cap?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Your application consist in :

Original NSNP-100 FORM
Copies of your CIC FORMS

All documents need to be sent to Halifax.

Until you get your nomination, you will send the original CIC FORMS along with your Provincial Certificate to Sydney Nova Scotia,
they review your information and pass your package to your visa office stated in IMM 0008.

everything is explained in

http://novascotiaimmigration.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/FINAL_RLMD_stream_February_2014.pdf

review carefully this document, everything is full explained here

The application guide says "it is recommended that passports have an expiry date no less than two years from the date of your Nova Scotia
Nominee Program application"

so it's recommended not mandatory.

Probably you could apply with this passport, if you were nominated, you could request another passport update any CIC Form with your new passport
and apply to the Second Stage.

Thanks for the response.

As per my understanding, lawyer, gazetted government officer are considered as legal authorized translators.

Correct if I am wrong.

Hi all
In the guide for Nova scotia nominee programme it is mentioned
Who should not apply

an individual with a full-time permanent employment offer, a seasonal, part-time or casual worker.
Individuals with a full-time permanent employment offer should apply under the NSNP Skilled Worker
stream;

I am on contractual offer....so I can apply or not,,just confused

Plz guide

Hi,

It means if you have an offer from employer from Nova scotia or currently working with employer in Nova Scotia , then you should not apply under this programme.

In your case, you are working out of Canada, so no worries. You are eligible to apply.

Hope it is clear now
