hi guys its really really frustrating till now im still waiting for updates on our application Im a septepber 2013 applicant its already been more than 14 months now and still my application is not moving.they already kept my passport for almost 6 months now and my medical has already been expired a couple of months ago.its really frustrating,i thought they are following the timeline they have on their site that the maximum processing is 15 months,y is it there are still a lot of 2013 applcants already on their 15 month or more and still waiting for updates.guys please share your experiences and thoughts about these..im still holding on we hope our MP is right about what shes said to us that it should be done by january.i hope it wont take too long anymore. ??? :-[ :-[ :-[

All those applicants who applied between September and December were very unlucky because all those applications were put aside to prioritize the Yolanda typhoon victims.
Tell yourself that almost everybody didn't get any improvement since September. I'm positive that visa granting will resume in January.

Yeah.. I hope so too.. BTW, Nov 2013 applicant and still shows "Application Received"

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to share my experience with all of you. Keep the faith and patience. I'm a fellow September/October 2013 applicant and we officially got our visa on hand yesterday. We were a bit different as our ECAS never changed to DM. I just checked now and it actually still says "In Process"

Timeline:
September 2013 - Submitted documents. Missed signature so our application was returned and we resubmitted.
Application Received - October 7, 2013
SA - October 23, 2013
PPR - May 26, 2014
In-Process - July 10, 2014
Re-Medical Request - July 11, 2014
Re-Medical - July 28, 2014
Followed up with CEM via email - October 7 - they replied and returned husband's passport with no visa since we said it was hindering him from traveling (wrong choice of words on our part).

December 7, 2014 - Received a letter from CEM that visa was ready to be issued and to submit passport within 30 days and when submitted they could potentially hold it for 90 working days. This was a problem since we have our church wedding in Manila early Jan and our honeymoon to japan right after, which was already booked and paid for as well as our family trip to HK. We replied explaining the situation with all of our tickets and hotel receipts attached. We requested to either quicken the process or submit the passport after January 25.

December 12, 2014 - CEM replied saying to go to the Embassy on the 18th and they would provide same day service

So hubby went yesterday and now we have the visa!! Our process took total 14 months. They were either feeling very generous, or my other guess is - we would be out of the 15 month processing if we submitted the passport after January 25th so siguro pinagbigyan nalang kami Wishing you all the best! And Merry Christmas. Never forget the power of prayer! You may not get it by Christmas but know they are working hard to bring your families together. God bless you all.

Wow! congrats senyo! We are hoping mabiyayaan kme kahit in process or DM lng..bsta may progress.. Pero mas masaya kung Visa.. thanks! Sana magka visa na lahat ng 2013 applicants. Sobrang mabigat sa pakiramdam minsan ang sobrang paghihintay..

Hi guys ,congrats to all got DM!!! in my case i dont have any updates yet nor remedical,my medical already expired last july and they havent sent me an email that i have to take my medical again,its already been my 14 or 15th month now of waiting after my ppr last MAY i havent heard anything from the immigration,even my gcms doesnt gives us any update it just shows its for close review as of november.why is it taking so long i just dont understand... by the way were under conjugal same sex sponsorship i dont know if that matters,but theres another applicant here that im following which is TEAMGO same with our application and also a Sept 2013 applicant and has already an update on their application their app already went to decision made.im so happy for them but also sad for us,i know we dont need to compare our applications becuase its a case to case basis but i hope the immigration will be fair on processing all our applications.our MP is not that too helpful,her last inquiry to the immigration was last november and she told us that it should be done by january so i hope we will hear some goodnews this january,its really hard to be far away from our loved ones,hoping this will be over soon.goodluck to all of us and have a happy holidays.

Salamat! Darating din yan. I know exactly what you mean. Kami nga ng asawa ko, we've been in a long distance relationship for almost 9 years na. So our Visa really meant so much to us. Finally a life together. Continue the prayers. Merry Christmas!

kami spousaL appLication... my partner went for an interview Last tuesday (dec 17)... it went fine so nag PPR request paLang kmi ng dec 18 which is sa ECAS, nag "in-process" n rin kmi ng dec 18... pero understand nmin kaya matagaL kc very unique un appLication nmin... heterosexuaL kmi in LegaL terms but homosexuaL kmi pag titignan... so akaLa mo, conjugaL or common Law pero spousaL paLa ang app nmin...

but my question aq... tingin nyo extend niLa un medicaL nmin (expired n cya nun oct 14, 2014) or mag re-med p cya?

It's hard to say din. It's very possible that they won't anymore. They usually ask for that when you have your PPR. Check your email again. Kami, na miss namin yung remed request because it went into our junk mail. It was only when we went into "in process" and they told us they requested for a remed in may and they haven't received it. The fact na you already have your PPR and In process you may be okay na. Just expect a shorter visa validity if ever. The usual expiry of the visa is when your medical expiry is. We had remed so out visa validty is till august 2015

Ah okay! Correct. Siguro visa validity will be mga December na rin.
