Thanks a lot for your reply, i think i already have a long time aip-dm because its been 10 months since aip, in the website says 8 months, maybe i should ask the GCMS notes, every time i call (once per week) they say everythings fine just doing background check.

Other thing i have a work permit but it expires in january 2014, so do you think i should renew it in case i dont get DM soon??

Ugh, sorry, I misread your post. Thought you got AIP in Dec. fingers crossed that you get some good news soon!

@ Tomorisu: I was a refugee claimant an i already renewed it 2 times, i`m not sure the differnce between mine and OWP but mine says that i can work everywhere but not take classes or some courses without permission, my concern is that i teach sports at the university and and they renew contract every session and the next session is in january/december and my temporary SIN also expires in january 2014 and i`m worried that i will not be re-engaged.

@ Quebecokie: Yes i received AIP in december 2012 so it`s been 10 months since that, an agent called me in february 2013 to redo meds and police and so i did, i sent meds in march 2013 and police in april 2013, and since that nothing, that`s why I`m kinda worried/desperate..

I'm not sure, but I think that your work permit is OWP, because you can work everywhere. Well, you have already gotten your AIP. At least, you can apply for OWP.

I can't help you well. Sorry. How about making a new topic on this forum and/or asking your question to other senior members? Then, they will advise you. Because, many people don't check here '2012 Quebec Inland Applicants'. (Only people who live in Quebec come here, I guess.) Good luck!

Hi again,

My husband got his DM today via email. So just three more to go!

kanadskazena

Congrats kanadskazena! Glad to hear that the processing off your husband's file is now finished and that you DM!!!

Hopefully we all get landing interviews soon. Btw I have added your current status to the spreadsheet.

I just wanted to let you know that our baby - Naveah was born at 11:19 last night! Which is why I hadn't updated the spreadsheet.

We've been in the hospital since Sunday... although we first went on Thursday last week. My fiancee was induced 11 days early.

Btw I still haven't had a response from the CIC regarding a change of circumstances. I wrote to them quite a while ago using the CIC email address.

Oh, congratulations, jg to you and the new mother! What wonderful news! I hope little Nevaeh and your fiancee are doing well.

jg84, congratulations!!!! I hope all is well with mum and the baby! :) What an exciting year for you!

Got DM online for the sponsor, but I haven't received any email. They said they sent an mail yesterday. Is there anyone who only received a mail but not any email?

CONGRATULATIONS to you and your wife, jg! An exciting year, indeed! Hope all are doing well!

Sorry, esthersun, I can't help. We got the opposite. NO notification to my husband that a decision was made on his sponsorship, but I received AIP and DM emails (no snail-mail letters).

Hello everyone. My husband received an email an hour ago stating that he was approved as a sponsor, but I didn't get an AIP email. However, five minutes ago I received a DM email! ;D

JG, congrats on the new addition to your family!

CONGRATS, wortip! Are you located near Montréal? (I feel sure you've told me where you are, but I can't remember.)

Oh, and meant to share that I went down to the Regie's office in Québec last week (Wednesday, I think), and applied for my health card. The people there were very nice. I was missing one piece of documentation; the statement from my husband saying I have lived here with him in Québec since July 2012 wasn't signed by the right person. My husband got a new statement signed and faxed it off the next day. Today, I received the letter notifying me that I qualify for health care on November 30 (three months after AIP), and that my card will be here soon.

Yes, I reside on the east end of Montreal. I won't have to travel too far for the landing interview. I'm glad they came to you for your landing interview. :)

Yes, it was SO much easier to land 10 min from home than 5 hours from home! There aren't a ton of Québec applicants listed in the 2012 inland thread, but I looked through it a lot when I was waiting to land, and it looks like Montréal moves relatively quickly (most landings occurred between one and two months after DM).

When I got DM, I then received a snail-mail letter requesting two PR photos, a copy of my passport, a copy of the RPRF receipt (we didn't pay that until I got DM), and confirmation that all of the information listed in the letter was correct (there was one thing I had to correct - they had an incorrect place listed for my initial port of entry into Canada). Not sure if this is a "Québec thing," or not. But I mailed all the stuff back to them the next day, and my landing appointment was about a month after that.
