Hi fellow quebec inlanders!
I need help! Hubby and i just moved, i notify cic by ecas but is not showing yet, old adress still appears!
I was wondering, should i send a copy of our new lease to cic to update our adress? To be certain?
And for quebec (micc) i already have a sponsorship csq, should i notify them too? How?
To make it worst... Ive lost my csq during the moving, how can i get a copy of it?
Ive tried checking micc website but i cannot found it...
Thanks!!
Good lucl and God bless

Hi, MaxLet.

Are you still living in Quebec? Not in other province? Did you call or send e-mail to MICC?
Just in case, you can find the phone number here.

CSQ is important. It is needed at your landing interview.

About a new address, it maybe take time to update on your e-cas. If I were you, I would call CIC to confirm it. I would also use 'Mail Forwarding' of Canada Post.

Congrats!! ;)

I posted in the 2012 inland applicants thread, but not here. I got an envelope from CIC today. I was asked to verify all of the my information listed on one form and to send it, in the envelope provided, to the Montreal CIC with a copy of my passport, my RPRF receipt, and two PR photos. Not sure if this is a Québec-specific thing (I was expecting a letter with a landing date, not a request for more info), or if it's because I didn't pay my RPRF until the day that I got DM. Hopefully I can get the photos done tomorrow and send it all off.

I remember reading about some of the other members from Quebec getting the same package. I think serenity was one of those members.

Perhaps, then, it's just Québec, doing its "Québecy thing" and insisting on being different than the ROC. ;D

yeah i got the same letter. Just do it quickly and then really fast after that you will get your landing interview ;)

In your case, had you paid RPRF when you sent your application? Or you paid after DM?

Thanks for the feedback! Planning to send it tomorrow, if all goes well.

Congrats serenity482!
Good news for me too, a DM letter was sent by regular mail on september 4th. I cannot wait to receive it. Already sent Medical and the FBI fingerprints by express mail, a new fingerprint digital system has been installed on Montreal Metro Police. I was the first one to use it.
Actually just found out AIP and DM were made on the same date september 4th. I just found out about DM letter when I check the online application status. Finally CIC is moving forward, I'm a happy camper now.

i paid everything directly with my application ;)

Thank's God, everything is going on wheels, my CIC online status now says under Permanent Residence: "We started processing <my full name> application on September 4, 2013."
Can anybody please update the spreadsheet, AIP and DM were made on september 4th 2013. thank you.

@Serenity,
Thanks for your info. So, whether we pay RPRF in advance or not, we are asked to send some documents before a landing interview. :) Quebec is special! :P
