I would love to join if I may.

I am a Canadian Citizen, sponsoring my American husband.
We filed inland, on May 16th. We sent the application to Vegreville.
We are settled in Montreal, where we plan to live permanently.

We received no confirmations or emails from CIC yet.

Good luck to everyone!

Hi Chantal,
Welcome again!
I am an Canadian too and I'm sponsoring my Irish boyfriend (Common-law spouse). We also live in Montreal (well in the West Island really).
Good luck!

Thanks for the warm welcome. :) :)

I wish I had a App Received date to provide. I sent the whole thing regular post; that was not very clever of me :-[

according to your calculation when do you think they received it? if you want i can put a date temporarily until you receive AOR. it took me 4 months to hear something from them...

You're welcome :)

I'm sure they received it before the end of May. Regular post is slower but not that slow!
They (CIC) just take forever before emailing the AOR saying that that they received it. It also took me nearly 4 months to get mine. And it seems, from what I have read in the forum, that some people don't even get one and still have their apps processed. (and vice versa, some get the AOR but it never says in process on ecas and somehow they end with Decision Made regardless)

That would be great! Why don't we assume they received it a week later? Sounds good?

Thanks!!!

Ah well ... patience is a virtue that I need to practice ::)

Thanks for answering, though!

Yeah same here!
I keep checking ecas everyday (a few times a day sometimes), hoping that something new will magically appear Smiley
Assuming that my application has everything in order, which it should given that we checked it so many times, I probably won't hear from them until January 2013... so I definitely need to be patient.

I can't even see anything about our case on e-cas. Nothing, nada, zilch, niet :o

Yeah and I hate to break it to you, but you probably won't be able to until early September :(
My app was received 3 months before yours and I couldn't access ecas until the early June...

Thanks for the heads-up! I won't bother to check for the next month ... if I can step away from the keyboard. Haha!

But I must say that your case gives me hope, though!

Haha! Good luck stepping away from the keyboard, I've been trying to do the same. And it definitely doesn't help that I work in front of the computer all day...

I'm glad! But how so?
