MDNA and VINLANDER, did you check you ecas recently? did it go back to "in process"? Because mine did but the message inside it was the same. I wonder why...

The same as you, I would not panic, I think they have a huge backlog why would they give the same message to all of us if it was a problem with the file...

mine still shows in process and was never changed to DM, even though i it in writing on october 22. i wouldn't worry about ecas!

We got the AOR the last month and one day later got the letter to continue the process with quebec and ask for the CSQ, they also start to processing our application October 16th... how much time take to get an answer from the MICC? also for the CSQ... Do you get also AIP close after you sent your undertaking and the CSQ?

i've heard of people receiving their CSQ within 2 weeks, and then they have to wait months to receive AIP, which is the next stage. for me, it took several weeks and calls for the CSQ and AIP came with a couple of days after... so it's relative...

Variable, depending on the case.
We have to keep in mind 2nd stage is the stage dealing with the applicant itself while AIP is mostly for the sponsor eligibility and weither or not the relationship is trusted.
Some get 2nd stage at the same time as 1st stage, some very close like 1 week to a month after AIP and some will wait many months.
It depends on factors like where the applicant is from, background and security check, police record, medical and probably some other factors. If some required documents like police check or medical are too old by the time AIP is granted they might need to be provided again adding to the delay.

I hope so too! To make sure that my husband would not end up being "illegal" we applied for an extension of his visitor permit, and we received it today; it is good until December 31, 2013. Let's hope we are done before that.
