Unfortunately I don't know anything about that.mdna said:vinlander, we're landing together i'd assume.
would you know anything about lading dates in montreal?
vinlander said:Unfortunately I don't know anything about that.
The last other Montrealer from the forum I can think back who actually landed, was qw123 who landed: Aug 15th.
Someone from the 2011 inland thread just said he was still waiting for landing since receiving DM in August.
The fact they closed offices might have created a backlog for landing, I dunno hopefully we will all hear about landing soon.
lyn28 said:hello, here's what i read from one of qw123's posts:
"My wife will be landed on Aug 15th. The race is finally over. here is my time line since DM. for more info see my signature.
DM: june 4th 2012
CIC montreal sent letter to pay copr fee and send photo: July 3rd, which I executed same day
CIC Montreal charge credit card for copr fee $490: July 19th
CIC Montreal sent letter for landing info and documents to bring: July 30th
Landing Date: August 15th
Documents to bring at landing interview: both person the sponsor and sponsored need to be present, then CSQ, undertaking kit, all work permits if any and SIN card if any, passport, appointment letter.."
based on this it took 2 months for the landing letter to arrive... I already paid $490 online last night, i hope this is not the reason for the delays of our landing dates
I don't understand Lyn, my wife only needed CSQ, not even AIP much less DM and clearly not CoPR for her french class.lyn28 said:@ Mdna and Vinlander, I hope we all receive the letter from montreal soon, and have our landing date scheduled, I need the COPR, i was refused to enroll in a french class at puline-julien because i do not have it. I thought CSQ and AIP/DM letters are good enough, unfortunately the confirmation they were looking for is the COPR plus the fact that my resident permit is visitor :-( I was very frustrated. I have to wait for 2 more months for the next class and I hope by then we are all landed.
