here is another interesting statistics link. Please download and take a look at the Permanent and Temporary Resident Applications Overview for example...
http://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/0186868b-a04d-4a0e-962e-bdfbac51bfb3

Good link to information.
The Excel sheet shows (Last Column) for PGP PR applications the processing time decreased from 74 to 73 months from June 2015 to June 2016. I have applied in June 2010 and even SA decision is not made yet.

No idea how true this information is?

I had sent request under Privacy act to know, how much backlog is there and what is the position of my application in queue, for applications submitted BEFORE November 2011. Answer i got is
No information available. No reason defined.

I don't know how CIC don't know about the applications in their office ? If there is no information CIC should find that. What a mess hain? :(

Update:

Received an email from Delhi office to provide some documents such as PCC's, Pay the RPRF, Schedule A, Travel information form and an attached non accompanying adult information form.

It seems its a standard email since some of the things were already provided with the application (like PCC, Schedule A etc.)

There is no info on where to send the requested documents though. Do these need to be mailed to New Delhi? where? Or can i submit these somewhere in Canada?

Thanks

You can update mine as well.I never got any sponsorship approval e-mail.But on August 02,2016 I got an e-mail from Delhi Embassy asking for Police Clearance, travel History, Landing fee. Moreover online status on sponsorship side says Decision made. And on sponsored person status it says - We started processing your permanent residence application on august 02,2016. So my file is also transferred to Delhi.

Thanks,

Harman
