One years ahead of me. did something go wrong with your file?

Today i got the sponsorship approval letter. The file has been forwarded to Islamabad even though the London Officr handles all files for Permanent Residence for applicants from Pakistan. Not sure if this is normal or should i call CIC to find out.

Please update the google document.

Hi all, i received GCMS notes, and according to the note, Eligibility decision is "Pass" in April.
And there is also another note "case is forwarded to CPC-Ottawa for processing" in April.

I didn't get any approval letter from CIC though.
Also, there is an outgoing request "Sponsor - Approved", but status is "not started"

Could anyone please let me know what is " case is forwarded to CPC-Ottawa for processing" mean at this point?

It means the permanent residence application will be processed in Ottawa for your parents.

Thank you for reply. But my parents are not living in Canada though. How that will work? A lot of ppl are processed in their local visa office. Why my case is in Ottawa? could you please share some of your experience or knowledge on this?

visa processing is done using the global case management system (GCMS) therefore even though the office dealing with your file is on the other side of the world it does not affect the processing of your file. In fact it has become standard practice to send files to other offices if they have less workload.
Ottawa has for sometime been dealing with cases from almost every country. If your parents are in your home country at the time of PPR then they would still send the passports to the local visa office. however if they are in Canada at that time then you would be able to get the visa issued at Ottawa.
