To change your contact information (email or phone number): use the following link

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=43&top=4

you will see a link called web form, click that link, it will ask you couple of questions and then it will take you to Case Specific Enquiry

it will as couple of information,

Please note you will not find any specific field for email address, in the notes section you need to write few words asking they to update your email address.

i will take 5 to 10 days, you would not receive any confirmation, you need to call them and check.

Please note it's not straight forward thing, at time you may be thinking you are doing something wrong, but this is what the call center agent told me and it did work for me

We have received approval of sponsor and transfer of file as on 23 June 2016.Please amend the sheet.We have already submitted Medical,can some one guess how long for visa?

did they mail you any letter or email?

as of today no good news for me, but i received GCMS notes last week and it appears that some work was done in the 5th month, lots of field were updated in the month of May 2016.

there were few notes stating Social services check was initiated and results are negative, looks like they checked my parents documents too

but as of today still no News

The application was received in January 2011 and started processing Aug 2015. It's been almost a year and we haven't heard anything regarding medical request. Is that normal or should I get inquiry letter written by MP?

Technically you need to do two things right away.
Request for GCMS notes, its $5 per request, it takes about 20 to 30 days to get feed back and PDF copy of all the transactions that took place on your file, give it a five to ten times reading you will have a good idea on where do you stand.

Yesterdays i called CIC call center, they indicated that Call center agent can help us if we have passed 11 months, in your case you have. so call the call center and ask if they can look into your case and advice you.

in my case i have submitted additional documents in Nov 2015, and got acknowledgment in Feb. 2016 so they refused to help me

but in your case they should be able to help you

Easiest and quickest way to land from within Canada is to go down to the US border and re-enter
or make an appointment inland at a CIC office but getting an appointment usually means a long wait of some weeks.

Hello my friends, here is my status. I applied for parents sponsorship when I was single on 2011. I meet LICO2011. I got married and has 2 children since then. Last year CIC asked for the update of the documents and they asked for tax return of 2011, 2012, 2013 and I submnitted them all on time. I have talked to one of CIC call centre agents today and she informed me that I need to satisfy the new LICO rule with 30% top up, which I cannot comply on my own. Can CIC change the LICO requirement like this? I should say that I did not add my wife as a co-signer, but if I need to satisfy new LICO then I need her to be my Co-signer. I would appreciate your comments. Thanks!

when you have waited for such a long time, requesting for GCMS notes is equal to two Coffee ($5 per request)

if i were in your position, i would apply for GCMS notes and try the MP route as well
