We started processing your application on May 3, 2016.

Medical results have been received.


She's single and her file was sent to Ottawa. The correspondence on May 11 was a request for the CSQ which we sent back the next day.
Has somebody an idea on when should we expect the passport request. (meds went well).

One may not have UCI# on his/her Visa stamp.

Generally, UCI/Client ID# is printed right below "Person(S): One". In my mom's supervisa, it's an 8-digit number. In your case, it's odd (V080205520).

Fellow members who are on this Boat (2011 batch), some of you are very close to exiting it and some who are in the middle and few at the end.
In year 2015 we received request for additional document, some of us who were vigilant, monitoring the immigration forum web sites and had their email accounts not compromised had advantages. But we all have been part of this tough journey and pair.
Don’t like the option of getting / taking individual benefit when we have suffered together this journey
One of our friend (Cgill) had put together his thoughts as petition to Minister of Immigration, requesting to look into Year 2011 batch files.
We are not asking to stop processing other batch files (i.e. 2010 or 2014) we are only asking to give as a relatively fair service.
For past two to three week we have been trying to get more signatures, we did not have enough luck
Therefore I request to folks in this Forum help us in getting it signed through other social media channels please
I have gone through the list of the names in May – Nov 2011 batch forum, and we roughly have 40 ID’s and we have 46 people signed this letter. So possibilities of getting more folks to sign this letter is slim, we need to look into other options please

Here is an update on my case. I've tried to be a good citizen and along the documents they requested and I sent; I mentioned one of parents dependent, who was over 21 at the time of application, was graduated and ask them to remove her. I called them today and after some tricks managed to talk to CIC agent. She told me that she can see that further review initiated on my file dated on April 20, 2016. I don't what further review means, but I know it delayed my file. any comments?

Hi Members,

We applied for my parents sponsorship and we are being requested to submit Medical with Police Clearance. My parents lived in US more than 6 months since they are 18 yrs. We have applied for FBI clearance and submitted request on 15th May, 2016 but as per talk with customer representative our application might take 13-15 weeks. We have all other documents ready except FBI Clearance and we have to send all documents in single package as per email instructions. I have below questions related to same. If someone can help it would be really great.

1) Can we send them all documents except FBI clearance in single package and explain situation? (My guess is no as they have asked for all documents in single package)
2) If we have to ask for extension, what is the way to communicate? Should I send email to VO or CIC or both?
3) What should be the format/content of the email if someone in similar situation has already drafted same?

You need to contact CIC. My application was also submitted in April 2011 and my parent's received their visas last month.
You should have heard something by now. You are in the batch which received document request in July 2014 and most of these cases are already finished or close to being finished.

Order your gcms notes as well to see what work has been done on your file.
