i have quick question for all of u i got medical req and also they ask for upgraded educational information for siblings, i sent before few days now my question is do they send u AOR for that or any changes in status ? and how long take time for decision made?

It seems CIC has been speeding its sponsorship approval process. Folks from 2015 have started getting Sponsorship approval. I guess by next year the backlog would clear and sponsorship will be approved within 6 months ( given there are no complications / unfilled applications).

i would not trust the eCAS, what i have observed that its not a true representation of current file status, even though its official means of checking the case status.

in my case since March 2013 it states we have started processing your file. but as per the Call center agent my file as of today it has not been opened yet for review, its still in Queue to get to start of processing state

best thing that you could do is after 15 day request for GCMS notes, and you will see in the incoming documents section, if they have received your documents, then they are going to add some notes stating where that document is posted, and where the hard copy of the document is stored.

in my case after submitting after submitting additional documentation i had one GCMS notes and about two months later i have submitted Adhar Card details for my mother and father via Canada Post, after 15 days i have requested for a second GCMS notes, and GCMS notes clearly indicated that they have received some documentation, and it also indicated were they were stored Scanned and Hard copy

its just $5 per request and it takes 15 to 30 days to get feed back, so no harm in trying
but as you have indicated that its related to your parents file (PR file) not your Application to sponsor your parents, therefore i think you need to use your parents UCI information.

should he order GCMS notes based on

1. his UCI number

or

2. his parents UCI Number

at what stage parents would be getting their UCI number?

My dates are close to yours...I had send additional documents in Oct and got AOR in jan.

Yes i got an email from CpC mississauga that the sponsorship has been approved and that the file is being transferred to thw LVO - Ottawa

Hello All,

Is it like because I had to submit additional document in Feb 2016-IMM1344 after all the additional documents submitted in Oct 2015, I wont get sponsorship approval anytime soon ??? Please any insights will make a difference. We are really feeling nervous. One of my old friends had also applied in Sep 2011 got approval last friday. That scares to me hell..dont know whats happening with the file ??

when you submitted additional documents in Oct 2015, did you receive a letter stating two things
a. Acknowledgement stating that "we have determined that your application is complete"

b. Your application is now in the Processing Queue and will be processed based on the date that the complete application was received.

at this stage if you look at the GCMS Notes, you application status would be openthis was the case for me)

after Six months i applied for another GCMS notes, and application status field that i was referring to in above line changed to In-Process-sponsorship. (this change took place in the week of 22nd May 2016)

in my opinion requesting GCMS notes by paying $5 is the best way to determine the true status of your application, when compared to eCAS information of CIC web site.

i DID receive an acknowledgement in Oct 2015, that the application is complete. After that I received another request for IMM 1344, which I sent in Feb 2016. Nothing after that... Dont knw...
Can you or someone else post GCMS notes link here ???? I know we have posted it in the same forum..i tried opening, it doesnt work.Thank you again.
