Thanks SoonIhope.

What puzzles me is why would they send Medical request and ask for FBI clearance in separate emails?
Moongs

Medical request emails rarely contain any document requests. Many people find even when they get a request for additional information to be sent along with medicals, the request usually mentions the medical request will be sent in a separate email. I have even known for that email then not to arrive.

You're right they could just send everything in one email.

Hi, There i was out of touch from a long time to be honest was disappointed. BUT ALLAH HELPED US AND he is helping further. we had our medical on april 16 2015 and a week ago they asked for our fresh passport copies and stated to send it soon as possible as our medical will expire our visa office is London and we filed our case 2010 march . Someone said its ppr one? what does that mean? is it a good sign and will they finalize before our medical expiry date?

Your reviews are appreciated we are family from khi, Pakistan.

Got e-mail today that I was approved as a sponsor and file is now transferred to Ottawa!

my timeline:
Applied Sept 2011
Additional Documents request 28.07.2015
Submitted Documents 10.2015
AOR received 12.2015
Processing started 23.01.2016
Approval 16.05.2016 - Ottawa office

Is it normal that my mother's home address is in Russia but the file was transferred to Ottawa?

Thank you very much for updating your time line, and it does help others on expected time line for Approval notice

in my case i have submitted Additional documents: on 25th Nov 2015
and received Acknowledgement: on 24th Feb 2016

but no update on the Processing stated date, in Acknowledgement letter it says you are in the Queue.

In addition to Alexandra12 did any one get approval last week

Hi just received message from my MP office as my file was sent to overseas office by Ottawa office after the file transfer after sponsorship approval in March 2016 and now Ottawa office sent file after approval to ND visa office to complete it. Have no idea what does it means but my MP office informed it's a good sign.
File applied in Nov 2010 and after all up down sponsorship approve and file transfer to Ottawa in Mar 2016 and now sent to ND office. I am waiting medical request might be very soon. Finger crossed

Congratulations everybody who has approvals and medical request! I updated all new info! Please check my signature!

Yes, Thanks

Is there a way that I can complete the immigration process though CIC office? I don't want to drive to the border

Yes you can make an appointment and go to a cic office and complete the landing formalities.
However I believe it can take a couple of months to schedule an appointment.

Most people find driving down to the US border quicker.

Should we start petition at change.org to fast track our cases before they process 2014 to 2016?
