We have the following timeline for Parents Application. Please include in the spreadsheet :

App : 11-July-2011
Doc Request : 29-Jul-2015
Doc Sent : 01-Oct-2015
AOR Received : 22-Dec 2015
Processing started as per ECAS : 25-Jan-2016

Father is no more. Mother(Primary applicant) is in Canada on visitor visa since October 2015. Visa office was kept as New Delhi when file submitted but updated the mailing address to Canada's address on Ecas since November 2015. Now, expecting a sponsorship approval letter with Up-Front Medical request in the middle of April or End of April 2016 with instructions to do correspondence with Ottawa office.

I hope above info. will help others.

Sorry for your loss. Did you inform CIC about your father. I would suggest you do so, as if you only have your mother on your application you may find the file is sent to Ottawa and last year some cases with only a single parent were processed pretty quickly at Ottawa.

My mother also is single parent and that wasn't help us with CIC progress.
We still waiting for sponsorship approval since last September.

That is why I said "some cases" as I know it was not true for everyone. However the cases they did process fast were very quick.

I got emai about missing IMM 1283. I am doing it. It is very complex

Any idea why the want you to do IMM 1283 (financial evaluation) form again. That was asked for back in 2011 has your family size changed or your income.

My agent did the file they said it has been missing and my file is incomplete.Can you help me with that?
If our income based on notice of assessment meets requirements . Do we still needs to fill last 12 months history.

You will need to fill Qu 11 and 12. You can leave Qu13 if you are just using NOA for income and put the figure from line 150

Thanks Very much. That is what I was confused for. So this means still i will fill Q11 or leave it blank for me and my wife?
How you did when you filed . I am only asking because i am scared to leave Qu11 and Qu13 empty.
My income is good based on NOA(2010) for me and my wife.

Fill both Qu 11 and also Qu 12

Qu 13 won't mater if you have Qu 12 and are relying on the NOA for 2010

hi Cgill i had same problem i sponsored my family ob apr 2011 send additional doc on sept 2014 got aor on nove 2014 again on apr 2015 they ask for imm 1283 for 2010 and 2011 so we send in may 2015 from march 18 2015 it was in processing and finnaly today i got email tht they transfer file to LVO. so my advice send them imm 1283 and u will get soon approval. best of luck

Did you also calculate your income based on CRA NOA. I will really appreciate if you can share how you did it that time.
Should I fill info in section 13 or leave it blank and only go for 12.
Or fill all the required information and then chose maximum?

If you can fill all questions then answer all the questions. Why risk having the form returned back to you.

One more question.
Our income includes some maternity benefits. Do we need to attach separate document for to prove that or they can find out from NOA
