Good News!!

Just received an email (dated March 8th) that sponsorship has been approved and my file has been transferred to LVO-Ottawa for further processing.

It seems now we are sailing the boat at CPC Mississauga. Everyone will receive some updates soon.

AOR : received on 19th Feb 2016
Approval: 8 March 2016

I am waiting too : no dependents and not Delhi visa office
AOR was in September 2015, Processing started on December 18, 2015...

in December 2015 they start to process. (in Mississauga)
today, I got an email that I have met the requirement and my case has been send to cpc-ottawa.
my parents are in Iran and i assumed the local visa office would be Ankara - Turkey.

Does this mean that they are going to process it here in Ottawa? if yes does anyone know how long it takes?

congratulation...Yes it is faster than all visa offices. You will get visa by this year.

A question for experts. After file is transferred to LVO, are additional docs related to education, birth certificate, marriage certificate etc requested? I know PCC & Meds are requested

Can anybody guide me for this; my brother have applied for our parents in May 2011, sent all docs requested and got acknowledgement.. still waiting for approval.. but due to some reasons he has to send invitation letter to his Mother in law for visitor visa, so we are little confused will it have any effect on my Parents file or my brother have to maintain income for an added person..

Thanks Cgill. I think some years back they had link to LVO specific forms & guidelines but now i am not able to find the links. Just trying to see if there is a checklist of items that need to be sent to LVO post sponsorship approval. Just trying to be proactive so that i am prepared if request comes in. I have my Mom & Dad in my application.

No she is not on file.. she is my Bhabhi's mother ..still he has to maintain income for her if he is inviting her on visitor visa..
