What is your LVO.
Hopefully you will get medicals soon. Actually when you get medical request it means your file has reached that stage of processing unlike with up front medicals which can sit on file until the LVO are ready to process your case.

Can you please let me know the time frame between date you received confirmation that you application is complete and from the date you sponsorship is approved.

application confirmation received in oct 2015..then i checked online status..they started my process in dec..now in march they send my file to LVO

hopefully..i talked some of my friends ..they told me now these days everyone getting medical vie e-mail..not by post..

Based on my conversation with CPC-M, if in case your application has Email address and Postal Address, CPC-M performs most of the communication via Email.
Like to share my bad experience with CPC-M and Email address. At the time of submitting my initial application in year Sep 2011 I have listed my Yahoo Email address and my postal address.
Over a period of time my yahoo email address got compromised and I did I totally forgot that I have listed it on my parent’s sponsorship application.
In the month of Oct 2015, 48 months of lead time to start processing the application was passed, and CIC Web site indicated that they are processing Application submitted in Nov 2011. So I called CPC-M they have indicated that they have communicated me via email around July 2015 about request to submit addition applications via email and my 90 days lead time to submit the requested documentation has expired. And they were under impression I was not interested in considering my parents Sponsorship

so sorry to hear that..it's really feel very bad when you wait for something you want to happens all the time and it passes by even without your knowledge.. what are cpc-m saying you now..are they giving you some grace period..or one more chance?

Yes, I was able to get grace period for another 90days. But managed to file all the documents in 30 days at CPC-M,

CPC-M took 120 days to provide confirmation that they have received all the documentation, and placed in Processing Queue and will be processed based on the date that the complete application was received.

Based on your time lines it appears it would take another six months to know if my Sponsorship has been approved or not.

I do not have any issues with Income, and my family size is very small, only challenge I have is my parents Marriage Certificate and date of birth certificate for my mother (in India we do not have exclusive date of birth certificate we use Grade 10 Pass certificate as date of birth) I do have all documents for my father.

hope by June July I come to know some thing positive

I did just now requested for Access To Information for my file, but I have one question

is this one time fee of $5,

or do we have to pay $5 for every request that I make.

or do they provide some kind of user ID and PW where I can log in and check the information

Hey guys I'm on same boat as you are..But good news is that I just got my sponsorship approval today..so all be patient..Hopefully you all are going to get approval in days...

Thanks.I applied in June 2011.I think if you want to change visa office then you need to change your parents address.Because cic always give visa office accordingly address.You should call cic.
