The same here, you can see my timeline in the left, and my friends who have applied in Dec or Nov 2010 have the same situation and no medical yet ! They have been waiting for more than 2 years........ frustrating system

I've already submitted my passport last week to Ottawa as they requested for that now waiting to get in my hand the passport and CoPR to finalize my PR application. I hope you guys will get yours soon.

December 2008 - Applied From Tunisia
June 2010 - Came to Canda with a work permit
April 2011 - Got my CSQ in New York
December 2011 - Passed the medical exam as requested
February 2012 - Got married
April 2012 - My wife got her CSQ and sent it to Buffalo
June 2012 - Folder transferred to Ottawa
February 26, 2013 - Email sent to my wife asking her to pass the medical exam - (i was also asked to pay the residential fees)
By mistake they asked me to pass them again too, an agent called me to clarify but it was too late , i passed them with my wife February 28
March 12, - Sent an email as request by the agent to let him know that our results were sent abd received by them
April 10 - Got an email from the agent saying that my wife's results are now in the system

you and I have fairly similar stats. I'm an FSW1, applied March 2011, received first AOR May 2011, RBVO June 2011. Nothing since June 2011 and ECAS status is still RBVO. Every time I log into this site I get depressed because the timeline has extended; last time we were all hoping the spring 2011 applicants would get med request around April 2013 and now it is mid April 2013 and most of us haven't heard anything and it's now some time this summer or autumn just for the med request. Who knows!

Today I received the following reply from immigration minister's office in reply to my inquiry.
"Our records confirm that your application was received at the Case Processing Pilot-Ottawa (CPP-O) in July 2012, where officers have initiated statutory background checks. Please rest assured that you will be contacted should additional information, documentation or a personal interview be required.

Current statistics based on historical processing data indicate that officers in Ottawa are finalizing 80% of applications in this category in approximately 13 months from the date of receipt of the completed application. Therefore, it appears that this application is proceeding normally with no unexpected or unwarranted delays.

Is that mean they will finalize my application within 13 months which is August 2013. I ordered my GCMS notes in October 2012 but no background check was initiated at that time. Now they mentioned that officers has already initiated my background check.
