URGENT HELP REQUIRED PLEASE senior members!!
dear all,
i our situation a dependent child is married now.should have to inform cic..
how to inform cic about this change? any supporting docs/ forms?
does the child need to take a medical examination? as we have received remedical request.

wish all good luck with ur applications....
thanks.

I believe you can just send updated information on Plain paper by referring file number etc. As proof of marriage you can submit Marriage certificate. I am not expert. may be have go though guide from CIC website?

Hello Guys,

My brother sponsored my father and mother and me as dependant in 2010. We just received passport submission request. My father and mother reside in Bangladesh and I am residing in Canada on work permit. My question is:
***Can I submit my passport to Ottawa while my parents submit theirs to VFS in Bangladesh?

Thanks in advance

You should email Singapore Visa Office to confirm if visa stamping for yourself can be done through CPC-Ottawa. I believe it is possible since you're a resident here.

May I ask: when did Singapore request your medicals?

Last Month in June. But it took so long because we were asked for an interview in February and had to provide some additional documents.

The letter we received for passport submission, it says:
***Residents of CANADA
If you have a mailing address in Canada and all yout accompanying dependants on your application are currently in Canada and plan to be in Canada for at least 3 months, you may submit your passport(s) and photos to the CPC Ottawa.

Does that mean my parents need to be in Canada as well as my father is the principal applicant?

Yes. By the language of the letter, looks like you can only do visa stamping for all people included in the application at the same place and can't just do some from Singapore and some with Ottawa so you might need to send your passport to get it stamped in Singapore along with your parents'.

One more question:

Will I be able to land as an immigrant in Toronto with my father being not present?

Hi ,

I applied to sponsor my parents .

- I received the letter of acceptance as a sponsor !

- Since I live in Quebec. We sent application for CSQ to Quebec immigration along with the letter from CIC ( it should be processed soon).

My parents are presently in canada visiting me on a tourist visa .

My question is :

Can they go ahead with a medical exam before receiving instruction from CIC ( upfront medical exam )- since there is a clinic next to me that uses e-Medical system ??

Or would that interfere with the application ?

Thank you kindly.

As far as i know No body can send their passport to another country via Mail. Be careful. Double check before sending

BTW, which month of year 2010 you/your brother has applied? Just trying to guess how long it will take my application

Thanks
