Option C won't show if its maternity benefit or regular EI benefit for job loss. Maternity can be counted towards income calculation while the other is not so I guess you need to obtain the maternity EI papers from Service Canada.

i have very important question regarding my studies
i m dependent type a ..19 year at time of application ..sept 2010
now 24 ... i started my btech graduation in 2013 -2016 session.
but unforuntae bcoz of my fatger passed away ...nov 2015 i missed my 7 semater that tym ...now my name cut from coolege ...and again i readmisiion in colg 7 sem but my now college saying i will go through from one year gap now my degree will extend to 2017 may insted of over in may 2016.....

now
if now have to fill backround history how will i fill that form ?????
plz help me

Hi everyone,

I finally got an email from CIC.
They need to do a reassessment of my eligibility as a sponsor.
They want financial details for the first year since October 2013 (it's the date when my spouse became PR).
They also mentioned that I could include a co-signer if I want.

I have a question regarding this:
Although I believe that my income is sufficient to cover my parents, 2 dependents and my spouse, I want to be on safe side and include my spouse as a co-signer.
Can she be a co-signer although she was sponsored by me? She became PR in October 2013 and is working full-time.

Please advise.

Finally for you an update.

As to your question your wife can be place as Cosigner for the period since she has become a PR ie Oct 2013.

Don't you already have visas. I thought you were just changing principal applicant to your mother's name.

Don't you already have visas. I thought you were just changing principal applicant to your mother's name.

no brother they alreaady cannceld my vivas in dec and kerp my copr with thrn ..ask my sponer sunmit new 1344 or 008 forms ...cic just big secrewd my whole case ...thry are spoiling and playing with our time ...they opened new ecas on my mother name .... old box os aldo there descion mafe on father ... they statred my case last step again from step 1 ...it show in process and second applicabt revived ..

plz now help me what to do for continous sdties as i get readmission but my degree gets extebd may 2017 insted of over in 2016 may ...

My parents arrived in Canada on visitor visa Nov 2015 and going back to India in May 2016
Eligibility of the sponsor approved in March 2016 and file forwarded from CPC-Mississauga to CPC-Ottawa for further processing. The letter said: "This visa office was selected based on your relative's home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act."

Now, I have few questions:

1. My parents files transferred to CPC-Ottawa instead of New Delhi. Is that because currently they are in Canada?

2. Should my parents go back to India when their visitor visa expires in May 2016. Or, should I try to extend their visitor visa? If they stay in Canada, will their process be quicker? What are my options?

To answer your questions.
1. If you only have parents on your file then most cases like this since last year are being sent to Ottawa. Their being in Canada does not in itself affect the allocation of the LVO.

2. Even if your parents return to India it does not mean you no longer have Ottawa as your visa office. Many people have been transferred to Ottawa and their parents were still in their home countries including some from India.

If my income is enough, I might not include my wife as a co-signer.
I don't need to have the new income levels (LICO + 30%), right?
As I applied in 2010, it's enough to have just LICO, right?

Yes your lock in date will be 2010 and you are correct that you only need LICO Not (Lico plus 30).

I think you are right that by adding a co signer when you meet the income will only add unnecessary delay.

Hello Friends,

My mom is travelling tomorrow from India i.e. Mon, Mar 14th and will be landing in Toronto on Mar 15th. I am little bit worried as she is travelling by herself and she cannot speak English. Can any of you advise the experience of your parents landing? Do I have to write any letter to carry with her or anything in particular we should be aware of..
