Email is fast way and paperless without cost.

I think unless they have an email on file they send regulat Mail. However I think it is possible to add email to your file by updating them at cic.

yes , we already added email at cic site .

passport request is sent to Principal applicant so if they have email on file for them then chances are email will be sent but if medical request was sent by regular post then I think they may not be using the email address.

if you have ever ordered gcms notes then at top on about 27th line they say "preferred correspondence method". This should say email.

Just to let you know.. don't know if you saw my last post but they sent our COPR with error not the proper info. We emailed them right away. They responded with this:

Dear Sir/Madam,

We apologize for this administrative error.

In order to correct the error, please send back to our office the following documents:

- The Confirmation of Permanent Residence for yourself and of each accompanying family member
- Passports of yourself and of each accompanying family member
- Two (2) recent photographs of yourself and of each accompanying family member that meets the requirements stated on this webpage: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/photospecs-cit.asp
- A copy of this email
- A prepaid Canada Post Xpresspost envelope

Please submit all documents by MAIL in a single package. Please quote your application number on your correspondence and send the package to the following address:


We have to resend everything no talk about refund for new xpresspost or new photos... all new .. our landing appointment was for March 22nd.. we'll see what happens .

Hi all folks!

Im so excited when I checked track ID on vfs website it show that " Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office Singapore, on 04/03/2016 to the Canada Visa Application Centre." And then I also have received phone call from vfs to pick up passport. I will go to pick up our passport on Monday. So I hear good news from them after 2 weeks when I submitted passport on 22nd Feb.

yes I hv recived my all original documents back by ndvo
and now e-cas status is showing decision made .
waiting for ppr now . can't wait anymore ..

Lots of people get PPR before Ecas changes. They usually notice Ecas gets updated in a few days after.

You have already got Ecas update so hopefully PPR is on the way soon.
