Only one more step of PPR left. I think all of us waiting should hear soon. Also in next few days govt will release their immigration levels for 2016 and cic will know how many parent visas are allocated for this year. Last couple of years they have issued about 18000 parent visas so everyone waiting I hope gets visa this year and our cases are finalized once this year's visa levels are released.

I have been waiting for PPR since September. I have had these 3 lines since past 5 months.

We applied in 2010. Got done with medicals in August waiting since then. I seriously hope we get through this successfully SOON IA.

i know some families, there medical was done end of June 2015. they received passport request 10 of feb 2016. means after 7 months. and only 2-5 days got passport back with visa sticker. original application was filed on 7 nov 2010.

its my prediction, all of we people belong to 2009 and 2010, getting soon passport request. only reason they dealing with different different things, like my father went through 3 times medicals, means almost 4 months we waste for medical. some people have dependent students, so in this kind of cases visa office extra taking time for verify for study certificate, some of us our parents visited different different country as a visitor. they also need some time for security clearance.

Just heads up that there are two different updates under my UCI (sponsor's) ecas and my parents UCI no.

Using my eCas gives 3 lines of update but using my parents ecas has 4 lines (more details).

You might want to look using both UCIs and there might be more information.

Just sharing in case you are looking for more info.

When did you have the online update on CIC website for medical received?
Did you get the PPR through email?
Have your CIC online status changed? If so, when?

Anyone here whose visa office is Abu Dhabi??? I got PPR ftom them on 24th Dec 2015 and passport recieved by them on 14th Jan 2016 and i have been waiting since then.
No news at all. Emailed ADVO too but no reply. Does anyone has any idea how long do they take.??? Others who have submitted their passports under different category have recieved theirs back in 2 weeks time. But its taking forever in my case.?? What can i do???Anyone? ??
