Hello Everyone,
My brother applied for my parents and myself as a dependant in Sep 2010. We had our medical done in May 2015. We still have not received a passport request. We ordered the GCMS notes and it showed my dad (principal app) has a heart condition M3. It also said interview recommend. The GCMS note stated that they sent out a letter in june2015 but we have not received anything. Do you guys know how long is the interview queu or will it be waived?

The M3 is code used to check admissible on medical grounds. M3 code is fine. see link below

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/medic/assess/index.asp

I don't know how long interview queue is, which visa office is your application at as some are quicker than others.

Today is 4th email I got from cic Ottawa that I met the eligibility as a sponsor and file is transferred to Ottawa. My parents have even done their medicals in Nov. they keep sending me this email.

Shall I do anything?? Why 4th email?? Anyone in the same situation??

I would send a case specific email explaining this. You don't want to leave it in case they don't even know if you are waiting for passport request.

I'd mention in the email that you are awaiting PPR as medicals have been done over 2 months ago.

phone the helpdesk and see if they can send an email on your behalf. Explain to them that you received no letter but your gcms notes mention correspondence which has not been received.

My Mother and sister had their medical done in June 2015. Later in Oct we were told to do additional tests (sputum and x-ray etc). We did all that and submitted negative sputum results and x-ray on Dec 12, 2015. Jan 4, 2016 4th line appeared online stating "Medical results have been received".

Does it mean that my mother cleared the medical and we satisfied the medical requirement? How long after med received line appears should we expect passport request?

Thank you.
Nothing was requested after upfront medicals which we completed in JULY 2015 and then on 7th DEC 2015 got the email for passports (passport request).

I hope you also gonna receive it very soon as you are almost there. All the best.

Hi,

I want to share good news. Today, I got email from SVO that you are required to undergo medical (sent to you in a separate email). Original good conduct certificate (or certificate of no criminal record) for each family member 18 years of age or older, You are also required to submit additional documents such as imm0008ENU 2D, imm5406E and imm5669E but these form we have submitted in 2014, Oct.

So my question is that can we send all the additional doc forms and police certificate in one envelop?

Thanks

Congrats. Did you also sent police certificates in Oct 2014 or will this be the first time.
