Hi seddiq. Did the cardiologist require further tests? If he was only prescribed medication, it may not sound serious, as long as your dad is stable. I honestly don't know what asymptomatic heart problem is, but what I can share with you is that my dad was also required to see a cardiologist since my dad is taking certain medications such as warfarin and requires regular blood work (inr). He was then asked to undergo additional test like Stress Echo and Holter monitor. Cardiologist Findings were my dad had previous mild heart attack in the past (which my dad didn't notice), also said he has atrial fibrillation and equivocal ischemia and he's current state is stable. Even with those findings, my dad got issued with visa. Hopefully your dad will have similar positive result.

Thanks alot first generation. Asymptomatic means that he has no symtoms of heart disease, but his heart has problem. The cardiologist did some investigations and diagnosed asymptomatic atrial fibrillation. Prescribed medicine, same warfarin n two other drugs. And asked to perform one more test after two months to see if there is a clot. If not then he should do cardioversion (give electric shock to normal the rhythm of the heart) thats it.

How did you receive the request for additional docs? By mail or e-mail?

- Yes one dependent >22 yr when applied
- By mail. In my case my file was on-hold because of "additional verification" as I added my wife as co-signer.

Your (psAug2010) case is very similar to Rickydeep. He called me on phone yesterday and his file is for "seconday review". I told him to order GCMS/CAIPS because then you can see what exactly agent wrote in file notes.

i ordered GCMS notes, a week ago. does the notes included the visa officer's notes from NDVO or does this only from Canada because i want to find out the notes from NDVO, because my parents did their medical on 20 june 2015, but Ecas is still not updated that they receive the medical. I ordered from the cic website. if you want to order notes from new delhi, is there any different form for them. someone who already had their notes and their file is transferred to new delhi, please reply. I appreciate for your help. Thanks

should be all notes. GCMS(global case management system) notes are linked globally so doesn't matter which office is dealing with your file.

Though we CPC Ottawa has received PP& envelopes on 12th Aug 2015, do you feel on the basis of your vast knowledge & experiences is it be taken as PR approved or can get further instructions. Will any forum member who have received immigration visa earlier can through some light to ease our agony.

Passports are only requested now if visa is ready to be issued. if they were going to reject an applicant they would not ask for passport to be sent. Also as you have provided police certificates and medicals only thing left is visa issue.

Sit back and look forward to receiving your passports along with visas soon.

Hi Notley,

I believe it's 99% visa though it says in the PPR letter it is condional to final admissibility review by immig officer. This is to give them safety net if in the last minute they find something not admissible to Canada, maybe crimininal charges etc. This is just my personal opinion since i also processed my son's spousal sponsorship of his wife. The ppr letter is generic and we received the same letter during the said spousal.

Just relax and you'll receive the visa in a week or two

N I have same exact timeline as u , I was just wondering when did u get second docx request n financial reevaluation for which year they asked ??
N also I think u mentioned to me that in ur first gcms ur income eligibility was cleared n still asking for financial reevaluation... That's strange

They asked me income proof and all other forms for period of 2013 Sept to 2014 Sept. The reason they asked me financial re-evaluation is because I added co-signer to my file. In caips the officer wrote note about co-signer thing. Did you call CIC why you haven`t recieved anything yet ? Did you order CAIPS ?

They asked me income proof and all other forms for period of 2013 Sept to 2014 Sept. The reason they asked me financial re-evaluation is because I added co-signer to my file. Yes I called cic last week n they said ur application is in secondary review n there is no Time frame how long does it gonna take. But I have 3 dependent n parents in my application . So total 5 members. M thinking they might gonna take little more time than 3 to 4 family members. (If they priorities by members).
I have not order caips yet coz m thinking let 1 one year finish next month n than I'll do it..
But now m expecting in couple week, I should receive something, m behind ur application if u c time line..

I called CIC in early july and they send email to CPC Mississauga asking for update ( I got nice agent by chance). Finally I got second request by paper mail dated 16th Augest.
