Hi all. Awesome news to share. Today, July 27, we received the stamped passports, COPR for the main applicant and all dependents, and the documents submitted was returned as well. Finally, the wait is over!!! Thank G_d.

All the best to you everyone too....

That is indeed an awesome news First Gen. I feel so happy for you. I can imagine all those long waiting time and frustrations but now it's all over. You finally reached the finish line. CONGRATULATIONS !!!

You also brought hope to everyone here especially to me where we have a similar case and not too far apart in time line, about 2 months ahead of me.

Making you as my reference I have something to look forward to.
My medical was completed June 20th, so in a matter of 2 weeks I will be expecting the passport request for stamping.

Hopefully everything will go smooth. For now the online check status is showing In Process.

1st Gen, I and everyone here in the group are asking you to try to stay active or at least check on us once in a while as we might have some query on this last few stages of the process. We need your continued guidance and support.

Thank you once again. I feel happy for you and your family.

Sure pinoypunjab, happy to help & share my experience to enlighten everyone.

Especially with regards to those dependent over 22 years old but was less than 22 at the first stage of sponsorship. I my self had struggled finding an actual positive experience of the over 22 dependent type A with no continuance of schooling and already working (which some considers grey area and opted to continue full time studies instead). Although facts of IRPA & OPs typically says locking of age, it's different to have information of actual experience. My brother's experience is an example of dependent type A, over 22 now, non continuous school, working, and even living abroad, was still granted PR visa by God's grace.

Regards to all. Best wishes on your applications. Your time will come soon too.

I know a few members are still waiting for sponsorship approval yet following document submission last year.

But I am curious to know if any of you out there have received sponsorship approval this year and are still waiting to receive medical request from the 2010-2011 batch of applications.

Hi,

How can I make sure that medicals are submitted to CIC? My files was transferred to Ottawa in July 2015 and in the same letter they recommended for the upfront medicals which we did on very next day. According to ECAS:

Sponsorship Application Status: Decision Made
Permanent Residence Application Status: In Process

Thanks again, Notley! Btw, i just checked right now my mom's ECAS status which i haven't been doing for the past weeks coz im not expecting anything new yet but it says "In Process since July 24, 2015". I believe, this is a good sign for my mom's application even though we still have to finish the final xray til the end of the month.

Hi Notley,

Nothing yet coz we still have to do the final xray on the 24th. I will be expecting update from CIC in September. Thanks for asking.

Good to hear that you already submitted the passport. Just wait for a week or two and you'll get your passport back
