On the basis of past case processed by CIC it has been observed that disposal of particular sponsorship depends upon the number of person per sponsor i.e single parent, both parents, parents with 1 or 2 or 3 dependents as the case may be. so file of single parents moves fast as compared to your file of 4 person because in your cse CIC might be taking time for processing of past and medicals of each and every members of the sponsor one. So relax as I feel now it is time you may be getting responses. wish an early medicals and landing too.

so with upfront medicals....my parents tried to book an appointment with doc they said that new Delhi office will send forms by email...so my question to those who already received their forms via email...did they received email at same email where they got sponsorship approval...

it is just main applicant my dad and mom as dependent....

Thankyou so much michlv :)

I didn't get any forms just the email and later on a letter in the mail. We made the appointment and she went to one of the certified doctors.

Hi AngelsKiss,
I just want to clarify something: I did receive email from Mississauga stating that I was approved as sponsor and my parents need to do medical exam. I thought I need an upfront form to send my parents to doctor, no? Because when we checked with physician in our town this is what he said.
I assume you received an email from the visa office that you were able to take to doctor, not Mississauaga, correct?

Thanks,

No UFM for me in the AOR, I got the MR 10 days dated after the AOR.

I see positive thing about that is you don't have to wait few more days after the AOR for the MR and forms. But rather you can just go ahead with the UFM immediately after receiving the AOR. I guess take advantage of that and have your relatives for medical schedule right away.

Hi there,
when you received the MR, what was the content of that request. Is it just simple letter or there is a special form (UFM) attached to it? They probably also have instruction where to send the results? Did this come from visa office?

As mentioned in few other posts by me and some others, our approval letters did not specify any timelines for medical, but also did not provide any forms and instructions on how to undergo it. I assume our 30 days will start once we receive an official MR from visa office.

Man, I am so worried about this whole process... :(

Hi Happy81
You are correct in my case also our representative is receiving all correspondence/email on my behalf, ask your rep to contact CIC to get new email. l. Once I have also requested to ask cic to resend the email and our rep immediately contacted CPC Mississauga and got approval letter on email sent again. Wish all the best and speedy processing.

Guys

Read this link

http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2015/02/06/immigration-program-for-parents-discriminatory-federal-court-of-appeal-rules.html

I think we all should dot it to have equal priority for all cases of immigration. Why they are pushing parents cases to more than 7 years.

Thank you so much. I just wrtote to the ottawa office today and will also be calling them.

Good Luck to all of us!

Don't worry my file was transferred to Ottawa on Jan 19 and I still haven't heard back from Ottawa for medicals. We are not the only ones waiting, other members like Jeleni, dattap, bmm, nitinbali60, inprogress, DAP-IMM, bdca, crust1980 and maybe a few more are all yet to update their profiles after their sponsorship approvals and files being transferred to Ottawa in January. There are also members like michelv and sharaved waiting from February.

I have no explanation as to why we have not heard back from Ottawa but we have to just keep hoping soon one-day our turn will also come, and we all get medical requests soon.

Thank you MichelV. I contact the ottawa office via email and am also calling them.

Appreciate all your help

Surahi

Hi chotis
Please contact CIC immediately and provide them you current email id in absence of which lot of problems can be faced. One of the forum memeber faced same problem as email id provided by him at the time of submission of application was outdated and in working condition hence he immediately contacted the cic and CIC after verify credentials noted new email id and the member got fresh email and now his is relaxed. Don worry about hacking at the most you may keep changing your password weekly and once the PR is received you may change email id but pl do not waste time as waiting of postal information is not beneficial in modern era. However you may consult any know forum member or immigration consultant i.e owner of this website or any other consultants but pl do not sit over the issue.Byee
