We submitted all the documents on October 22, 2014 and got the AOR in February (dated February 6, 2015).
No approval, yet.
Is there someone who has a similar timeline and already received the approval?

Hi,

I'm fairly new here. I have the same case. I submitted my application to sponsor my parents last October 2010
Got a letter last July 30, 2014 asking to submit all other documents
Submitted all documents in October 2010
received AOR in February (dated January 16, 2015) informing me that they have received the complete documents on October 16, 2014
same thing with me - no approval yet as of this time. I have been calling the call center and they informed me that they open the file
last March 2015. I am still waiting for approval. let me know if you have received something.

Same here. We need to have little more patience.
After AOR, they further inform within 3-months I guess and the 3rd month is still going. So let's wait a little bit more.

Hello, I also submitted additional Doc on Oct 22 2014 and received AOR on Feb 12 2015 dated Jan 25 2015. I am in the same boat nothing yet.

Just an update my parents ts had their medical done couple of days ago . The doctor said they will send all the reports in couple of days via emedical . Thanks

Just an update as well, my parents did their medicals on Tuesday and paid the landing fee as well. Hoping for a passport request by the end of May. Wow London office was very quick.
Anyone in my same situation?

I have an question?received approval on the 25th March saying file has been transfered to vcolombo office,But up to now nothing has come up,not even local visa office AOR for the application.(I received approval by letter mail thorough post here in Canada even though i put my e mail on the IMM008)Please please tell me when can i receive AOR from local visa office or medical request,Please all experts you're advise will be much appreciated.

In requesting documents it mentioned if you reside in canada more then 6 month , need to send RCMP too.
Does it mean in 6 month in one trip or in total?
My parents has visitor visa and they did not stay more than 6 month in each trip but in total in last 5 years they was in canada about one year.
Should they get RCMP?

i think they need RCMP clearance only if they stayed in Canada for 6 months or more in one trip.

I have question with respect to document request.
I am wondering if Marriage Certificate is must or affidavit which i have already provided will suffix?
Or any other document which can be used instead of Marriage Certificate.
