NO news on the request for medical as yet. request everyone to share date if possible so we cna kep the speadsheet updated and monitor what is going on.

Will the request for medical, come to me or go my parent in India?

Not much movement since Jan. The medical request will go to your parents, if you provided email id on IMM 0008 form then likely it will go to that email id.

feeling relieved after getting this email , probably will get a call from bluedart guys tomorrow.. I am happy took around 20 days . What about you did you get any similar email.I am feeling excited , i might not sleep today

we paid approx 3000 for 3 passports , that included currier fee too.
did u get any email or message

I had the same experience with CIC call centre agents. They told me 6 months from document receive date , so I called in march and they told me now 6 month from document complete letter (Dec) , so call back in June. They do not have a clue to be honest. Its anybody guess there is no straight forward or clear guidelines to the file processing. They just go case by case. I would suggest not to worry this is same happening with lots of the forum members. it is useless to call CIC unless there is some issue with the file as to status its anybody Guess.....

But this procedure is wrong. If officer deems your application complete on day X (which in my case was Sep 30, 2014), this should be the day clock starts to count 6 months. It does not matter when they send me this information (in my case I received letter in Dec 2014). They just don't seem to understand and follow their own procedures. But you're right it is useless to call them, will have to wait...

We sent you a letter on April 9, 2015 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

What delays?

Quick question... after the Decision Made and (assume) sponsorship approval what is the next step? is the medical request sent to my parents? are there any additional documentation that my parents need to get before the medical request ie. there birth certificate? additional application that we need to start working on? or now is the waiting tie for medical request and what is the average waiting time?

thats good it mean that they will email you medical forms soon,.... check emails regularly !!!
i guess average time left will be round 8 months hopefully....

But I did not received any email or letter saying that I am approved just the online status. The waiting is killing me. should I call and ask what the decision is or just wait for the letter? the mail usually takes 3 days or so and tomorrow will be a week

You can call them and ask them the details like where your file is being transferred? You don't really need a letter or email for anything.
