I received the email approving the sponsorship and notifing that the file has been transferred to Ottawa.

I submitted my docs in early September.

Any clue how long before medicals are requested.

Congrats did you get email today
Hopefully medicals will be before end of this year, some people suggested it takes about 6months. I think it depends on how busy the LVO is.

HI, I submitted additional documents for my parents in Oct and didn't receive any acknowledgement yet. I called cic and they told me its too early to say whether they received or not. Also i applied for ATIP report which i assume should be replied within 30days but even after 1 and half month there is no reply. Anyone pls suggest!!

That seems unsual as I thought all people who sent documents by mid Sept had received AOR. are there any other forum members from Sept who still haven't received AOR. I was under the impression they were now working on AOR's for October applications.

Hi Friends,

I have submitted my Documents in 1st Nov'14 and I have not yet received AOR. I called end of Dec'14 to CIC call centre but they told me that i have to wait 10 weeks once you submitted documents so wait till 15th Jan and if you don't receive the AOR by 15th Jan'15 then call again. Today I called CIC Call centre to find out status but agent again told me to wait until end of January.

I am quite concern about now as i did not get my 90 day document letter on time and they forwarded me in mid Oct'14 after 3 followups with CIC.

how about others who submitted 90 days documents in Sep/Oct'14 - is any one still waiting for AOR?

I also received my sponsorship approval letter today.
I sent documents on 8 Sept 2014.
Hopefully other forum members who submitted their document around that date will also be receiving approval and transfer of file this week.Just keep an eye on your emails.
