Hey Everyone,

Just to shed some light. I just received an email from CIC saying that I have been approved as a sponsor(letter dated Jan 9, 2015) and it is in further processing. The letter states that if I need to send info, it wil be to the Ottawa office. It also says that if they require additional LOCAL info then it will be forwared to local office in India.

Congratulations. I got my AOR dated Nov 24th. Still waiting for Sponsor approval letter.

I submitted my docs in Sept and they received it on Sept 3 2014.

The AOR is dated Nov 21 2014.

Sponsor approval dated Jan 9 2015.
The file transfered to Ottawa and there is only my mom and dad. No siblings in the file. They are both in India.

Permanent Residence
1.We received your application for permanent residence on January 18, 2010.
2.We started processing your application on January 13, 2014.
3.Medical results have been received.
4.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Medical was done Jan 15 2014.

In July we got an Email from CPC- M asking us to ignore the request for passport notice which I have never seen such Email.

Then our case got transferred to CPC-O in Aug 2014.

In Oct 2014 we were asked :
In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:
Ø Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature
Ø 1. Please have applicant submit a detailed personal history background 1970-present, including the following;
Ø a. Job titles (Manager, Director, Technician)
Ø b. Names of businesses/government department
Ø c. Specific duties related to position(s)
Ø d .Dates
Ø e. Locations
Ø f. Names of supervisor(s This must be received at this office by: 2014/10/10

We supplied all documents within deadline.
We have not heard something till today Jan 2015 , the medical results are about to expire in a few more days
We have been sending Emails, FAX, registered letters more than 10 times to inquiry on the case.....and no response at all!!!

We are discouraged, disappointed, frustrated......with CIC Sad

Any friend has similar experience with us? what happens if the medical expires? What would most like to happen?

Yes Aor dated NOV 7 2014 and they said they recievd all documents on AUG 28 2014 and ready for process

I received an email but the letter stated I will also receive it in the mail. I have not got it in the mail yet but i'm assuming it's on its way. I included my email when I submitted the documents.

Anyone know how long it takes to receive the medical request from this point now? 2 - 3 months?

Also should I tell my parents to get the PCC done now, because they didnt include that when they submitted the documents.
