I have applied for my mother's sponsorship in Dec 2010.
Time lines are below
Application date: Dec 2010
New documents requested: Aug 2014
New documents submitted: Aug 2014
AOR received from CPC-M: Nov 2014.
Sponsorship approval and file transferred to Ottawa: Dec 5th 2014
Medical requested: Dec 16th 2014.

Did the medical yesterday. Doctor will upload results within 10 days.
Can anyone let me know when can I expect next response from Ottawa (hoperfully they ask passport for visa)

congrats great news for you before xmas. At this speed i suppose by the new year you should get passport request. could you tell what date in Aug 2014 you sent your documents. Also did you send police certificates in Aug.

did you get email for sponsorship approval or letter in mail.

I got e mail on sponsorship approval.
My mother is in Canada. CPC-O requested PCC also on Dec 16. I sent PCC also yesterday to Ottawa.
My mother is in Canada on Visitor visa. PCC for India can be obtained from BLS canada. I got it within a month.

Take a look at my time line to get an idea of what will happen next. ECAS showed they started processing Sept 10, and Sept 25 showed decision made. Rec'd an email Sept 25 to submit the passport to the embassy.

Does your mother have dependent?
