Yes, finally, I got passport request for my mom after going through additional medical request. Passport has to be sent in 30 days and visa is valid up to Aug. 24, 2016. It was Aug. 24, 2015 when her final xray was done which was the basis of the visa expiry.

it is IN Process
and finally DNA is Dona and positive ,didnt took that long for DNA just a month for test results and month for appointment

That's good news Jeleni...I got the call on Monday as well...they just told me it was approved and to send in the passport but no details.

Did you try calling Ottawa regarding medical request? How about ATIP? In my case, i ordered ATIP two weeks ago and still waiting for the reports but luckily i got an email yesterday for passport request. Try ordering your ATIP to get some clues what's going on. There are times that there are missing communications between CIC and applicants, so better be on top of it. I hope when you get your medical request it will be faster than normal. As for me, we can send the passport to the processing office or to our local visa office as per email, which is Ottawa or Manila. Since my mom is in Manila, she will send her passport to Manila office. Hope that helps.

Thanks Jeleni...I had the passport sent yesterday...we can only send by courier to the local office and paid to have it returned in the same country.

Ihave a question. Our visa office is London . We did not recieve any passport request but we got a mail in July that our medical request was sent on 31st March and in that email they ask for additional.documents and medicals and some other documents. Can someone tell how much time it will take for passport request now? Its been more than a month and we have not heard from.them
