We rec'd request for additional documents and as per request they asked for "certified criminal record check". Do you know if we need to get the RCMP certified once receive in mail? What they mean by certified here?

Hi all. Awesome news to share. Today, July 27, we received the stamped passports, COPR for the main applicant and all dependents, and the documents submitted was returned as well. Finally, the wait is over!!! Thank G_d.

Hi first_gen,

We had an experience for passport request from Manila LVO during my son's spousal sponsorship almost end of December 2014 and passport were returned with visa on first wk of March 2015. It specifically stated in the letter that visa will be issued within 90 days. We just waited for that 90 days. But during the waiting time, we keep on checking the ecas status coz it seems that Manila office updates the ecas as DM when they have issued the visa. Almost 3x a day, we check it...lol. Then one day, i saw it as DM, around end of Feb. 2015. After a week, my daughter-in-law received her visa delivered by DHL. Other manila applicants from the forum check with DHL if they have a package from CIC just by giving their names, no tracking number coz you dont have it. Also, normally if your parents live in the province it will take longer to arrive but if it's Metro manila it's just a week from DM.

I am not sure if the procedure are the same but just to give you an idea.

Hi Jeleni ji I earnestly request you to become Admin for this new group so that you can have control over all issues through whatsapp and your google spreadsheet which is helping a lot to the forum members. Your control over whatsapp group will also facilitate you to exercise control over all happening and will also help the members who sometime don't get internet but can operate whatsapp on simple data service.
I will also request Sonnihope and nitinbali60 and other forum members to convince Jelani ji to takeover the whatsapp group at the earliest. Rgds

Personally, I don't think starting a Whatsapp group is going to be useful because this website has many users and plenty of information. Also , the admin of a whatsapp group would stop moderating as soon as her or his application is completed. So let's just stick to this website and keep everyone informed.

You will receive your PPR soon just like gaur who had DM first then after a week got PPR.

Sorry, i am on vacay right now, reason why i seldom open the forum. But i still see to it that i update any developments on members' timelines.

With regards to whatsapp, i dont think i can handle that since i am not familiar with the application. Besides, as what others think, this forum may be better. I have been using a couple of chat app already and i dont wanna add anymore

Morning. So today I got an email of Passport request from New Delhi along with two photos to be submitted within 30 days. Last week my status changed to In process and I got my original documents back from New Delhi. Anyone knows how long its going to take to get the visa now? Also If you submit your passport through VFS Mumbai. Will they courier it back to them or to your home address?
