Hey guys.. My parents got their ppr on June 15th and they submitted the passports on June 18th to their local visa office Jalandhar, Punjab. They still haven't received their passports back with visa and their E-Cse status not changed to decision made. It still say medical received. Is this normal for them to take this long to receive the passports back and change to decision made? Pls share I'm getting nervous now if something is wrong...

my parent' got medical request In e-mail that is IMM1017 B or up front medical check up and after that I didn't receive any other e-mail from cic. my Q is that one real medical request or will they send me another request because my panel physician submitt the medical result on 20 june but as per my ecas nothing change yet like they received it or no is it normal, because usually saw on this forum people ecas changed in 2 weeks. I am getting worried. please help thanks

I got an email for up front medical and then few days latter my parents in india got letter for medical, and orignal doc
including my brother who was under 22 at time of application..


so does that mean he is included ///or they still will do background check and all that after medical /....

Hi Nothing to worry. Usually LVO takes 2 to 3 weeks for return of PP. In Gurunanak case and also in other forum members of case the PPR or PP were sent few days before the change of ecas as decision made. Yours PP might be in transit and you will get within couple of days. You were right and had only option to handover PP to VFS jullundur. Even in our case for depositing PP in chandigarh office of CIC we were advised to deposit PP in VFS Chandigarh though both are local and we got PP in routine. Wish for early information.

How can I update the informaiotn in the signature line, so can be easily viewed by everyone

Hi chotis,

I just updated your timeline. Hopefully, Ottawa office will not request for additional test for your dad. My mom had to do additional test (sputum) because of the scar on her lungs. I am still awaiting for the formal results to be submitted by the panel physician though they said my mom's tests look good. She still needs to redo xray by August.

How's everyone? I'm curious to ask if anyone who already got their pp with visa or anyone got an idea if the LVO sends email notice or any notice at all when they return the pp to the applicant? We sent my parents' thru courier & we expect to have it returned the same way. I wonder if we will know when they send it back & are we able to track the transit as well?

Happy to share the news. My mom received her passport stamped on Jul 9th. She submitted it on Jun 29th.
The visa has validity until next Apr 2016.

Today our e-case is updated and 2nd line is added. Our medical was done on June 25th. The new line states that we have started processing your application on Jul 7, 2015. Initial line was about application received in dec 2009.

Our file is in London. There is no line indicating that medical has been received. Anyone who has been requested passport and their case is in London can comment to tell me what should we expect next and how long would it take before we get the PPR request.

Hi, we got passports back with visa.
But didn't get original documents back yet. Any body has idea how we can contact cic Delhi to get originals back.
Timeline is
Applied may 2010
AOR received Dec. 2013
Medical done Dec. 2014
Then DNA request May 2015
DNA test done in June and then pp request July 1
