I just want to know, is this a medical request from cic or you still waiting for the MR. Pls share ur timeline and give me some advice what should I do know? Thanks in advance.

Same happened to me. If I am not mistaken, you still need to get a medical request from visa office. Some members of forum however stated that you can go ahead and do medical without that official request and that medical is valid for 1 year.

Had some bad news.. the panel physican said there is some spot on the x ray for my mom and needs to do a spatal test... a little tense.. anybody had that issue?

Its weird cuz she did a supervisa medical about 8 months ago and there was no issue..

technical the one for supervisa is still valid but cic requested another medical

preet...u will recieve aor from delhi in 2 to 3 weeks...i recieved mine may 15...parents re still waiting for med...as delhi office will send pre filled forms..

soonihope and others waiting for medical.. is there any update on your files? The wait time is killing. I called CIC yesterday to check if the medical request was ever sent and I didn't receive or lost in spam.

CIC has a new policy not to discuss status information over the phone before Ottawa's processing time which is 69 months. They did not even wanted to check if my email id is correct on file and what was the last correspondence sent to me. This is getting ridiculous. It is pretty much useless to call them now before posted processing time has elapsed.

I still don't understand what factors prioritize your file as it doesn't quite match up with our theories (single parent, with or without dependents).

Do you know if your mom had a problem with her lungs before? I think, panel physicians if i may say are more strict with medical results for PR. I have the same issue with my mom. She had a scar from 1976 lung problem and they asked her to do 3- day sputum test. When she had her medical for tourist visa in 2009 there was no issue, no repeat xray, nothing. But now, she has to do the 3 day sputum tests. Not only once but thrice. They just wanna make sure that everything is clear. So let's just hope, everything will be finished soon so they can forward the results sooner.

I think sputum test is for tb. Yes, hopefully, after this additional test, they will be able to safely say that our parents are clear of tb. I asked my mom to ask the panel physician who should inform CIC about the additional test, should it be them or us coz I am also worried of the 30 day allowance. Maybe you will find the answer to my question sooner coz my mom will have it on June 3-5. And according to the physician, results will be in 1-2 months. Pls. Let me know if you have the answer to my question on who should inform CIC.

nothing yet. just keep checking email everyday but nothing so far. there are people who still do not have sponsorship approval so I feel for those people and think how frustrated they must feel. All we can do is grin and bear it. hopefully our day will come soon.

just wanted to check that will the ecas change to medical results has been received.
if yes how long cic will take to update it.

my parents did their medical on 16th may, 2015 (medical email received on may 12th).

currently ecas only shows two lines when I login using my parents details:

Please let me know.
