Hello Cpa2canada,
It was a case specific enquiry. I gave them my B file number.
They said in the Email that it was awaiting review. Very strange reply.
I have sent them another Email asking them to elaborate a little more.

Hello Guys, I got my Medical request last night and we will have our Medical test today. It was sent by Sept 1, 2009 via snail mail only (ordinary mail).

Power...thanks God you got it already....some batchmates emailed London but they got an answer that says "still under review by the immigration officer"....

we can say that though your ECAS says "IN PROCESS" review completed/started processing...the IOs are still reviewing the documents....it just so happen that your IO is very fast in deciding hehe....and he sent you med request after almost 2 weeks when they changed to IN PROCESS....

i have completd my ACCA exams & now waiting to become ACCA member by January, 2010. I have already sent my initial application to NS under NOC 1111 (waiting for AOR). do u think i have chance for PR? also r u going to take the CGA qualification in Canada?

I am planning to take that when I get in to Canada...if God permits.....

thnx for the CONGRATS. the exams were hard & painstaking.

However, i am not a memeber of ACCA yet. So, do u think I stand a chance of getting PR? my current job title is Accountant.

when u go to Canada(i hope this happens soon). will u sit for ACCA or CGA? what is ur educational qualification now?

hello...shibleebd....so can you please tell me about the subjects you take for the ACCA? Accountants are on the 38 list...so no worries about that...ACCA certification is just an added value to you.....

im planning to sit for Chartered Accountant of Canada (CICA) or CGA..it depends if i will get eligibility for the experience I got or the education I attained....but i think...Canadian study/experience is a must for us to sit for the exams...so its a long way to go....but for an ACCA certified, i think it would be easy.....

This morning we went to the designated clinic here in Qatar to have our Medical Exam. Unfortunately, they did not accomodated us for the DMP will be going on holiday. They scheduled us to come back on Sept 27 after the Eid Holidays. So another delay, hehehhee.
They gace us referral for Blood Test, Urine and x-ray. We competed the said exam and we got the result over the phone that everything is normal. According to the techinican who handled the blood and urine test, they'll only check for HIV and sexually transmitted disease (VDRL) for blood and Complete urinary test which include presence of protein, sugar etc. For x-ray, they are only looking for any sign of TB.
We hope to have out Physical exam on Sept 27 and will post here our experience.

To CPA2Canada, it's nice to know that you worked here in Qatar. Life is now difficult here, hehhehehe.

Hi Raj here is my timeline;
FSW - Nurse
January 2009 - Submitted initial application to Sydney Nova Scotia.
February 2009 - AOR Received (120 days)
May 2009 - Submitted full application to CHC London
August 20, 2009 - Medical Request.

Still waiting for the completion (physical examination) scheduled on Sept. 27, 2009.According to the DMP, if everything is okay, they will forward the medical result to chc london in 2 days and may be received by the visa office in 2-3 days.
