Some 2006 applicants from bangladesh are getting letter from CHC mentioning their score as well as notifying them that they'll be getting medical request etc.etc. by late 2010 or start of 2011. As their p rocessing timelines are almost same as for pakistani applicants we can also expect something like that soon...

i got the information while going through a forum for applicants from bangladesh just to see what's happening there and 2-3 people were talking about the same and they reproduced the wordings received from CHC. I'll post a link as well..

This is a very good sign. At least people are going to know that when their case will be finalized and will be in position that their case proceeding ahead, Silence kills great people also

This is a very good sign and pray God it should also be done from CHC Islamabad because only silence and not a single word from CHC Islamabad also makes the people mad.

The processing times for each country is different according to my poor knowledge. am i right? ( These former east pakistanis are ,ore preferable to world than us...i guess)

i also applied in sep 2006. yes i agree that each country has a different processing time line but their is not much difference in the time lines of the countries mentioned in the above links.

I applied in April 2007. Got acknowledgement letter after 1 month. Then received a letter from CHC Islamabad in December 2008 (i.e. after 1.5 Years), asking me for for my continued interest in canadian immigration. No further corrospondence from CHC after that. Waiting :-X

Gentlemen,

All 2007 applicants who are under old system can do nothing but wait. Only patience will bear fruits. Never ask CHC what is goin on if your case is with in normall processing times (i.e. 36-42 months), which they have also mentioned in your first letter coz repetitive questioning piss them off. One thing is for sure that their progress is really slow with old cases but they are doin it.

One of my friend who parents are already immigrants applied 6 years ago, has just submitted his documents recently and now waiting for medical call. So u can imagine what's really goin on.

Also processsing times conditions have changed. A year ago it said that 30% of cases finalized in 36 months. Now it says 30% of cases fianlized in 60 months. After all this terrorism scare and current country's situation, they are taking long, they are scrutanizing people more closely, and people whose occupations are on ministirial list are being given priority coz that's Canada's labour market requirement at the moment.

Putting all above together, we 2007 and before Feb 27, 2008 guys have to wait.
